Darryl came out initially to look at the space and come up with an installation plan. After my wife vetoed the original plan (she didn't want the condenser unit visible from the front of the house), Darryl gladly came back out to help us think through other options and come up with a plan my wife was comfortable with. It took a while for me to arrange for the electrical work required to install the unit, but Britton got me on the install calendar very quickly once that was taken care of. The actual install turned out to be more complicated than expected due to very limited access to the space over my office in the attic. The crew figured out a way to get the job done, though, without needing to cut extra access holes or anything like that. The installation was completed quickly. The crew both put down drop cloths all the way from the door to the office where the A/C was being installed and wore booties over their shoes to keep our house clean. The end result looks and works great, and the crew found ways to work around

Bought an Angie's list intro deal and they were very professional and communicative. Signed up for their annual plan which includes two inspections/year. The guys are always very knowledgeable and professional and the pricing is quite reasonable.

They were VERY professional and polite. That is the quickest I have ever had a technician show up and at the time scheduled. The only complaint is the price for parts. Most A/C repair companies will double the cost for parts which is pretty standard but best I could tell given the short amount of time the repairs took, they triple the costs of the parts. Trip charge was pretty reasonable.

Nick was very careful, made me feel much more confident of the safety of the heating unit and more knowledgeable about possible needs in the future. He was very reasonable and fair. I would definitely use his services again.

They have very friendly service from the person you call in to schedule an appointment, was incredibly nice and easy to work with.  The gentleman that came out was very detailed, professional and thorough.  They were great with everything.  I don't know how they compare price wise to other people, it's never cheap when you get into a/c work.

I'd give them all "A's" except for price, I just don't have anything to compare it to.  I don't really have a reference point.  I would use them again.

Beyond my expectations. They did an excellent job and would recommend them again ... We live in California and my son lives in Texas. Learned one thing. You absolutely need air conditioning in Texas during the summer.

They were out twice.  Once for a tune-up and then for a coil cleaning.  I'm very happy.  "A's" across the board.  I'd use them again.

I had a great experience with Darrell Lightsey, from Britton Service Group. Darrell was incredible to work with and he throughly answered all my questions. He explained all my options for a new AC unit and the service call was free.

Nick was informative explaining things as he went. He helped me understand what was wrong, fixed the issue, and then checked the system in its entirety to ensure that nothing else was cause for concern. (Nothing was.)

Steve came on t and was able to diagnose our problem, placed an order for the broken part, and installed it the next day. Super service!

I called Britton for a full system quote, and they were able to get me an appointment later that same day. Nick gave me a quote that was very competitive, and described the system options available. Initially we were scheduled for a Saturday morning install, but on Friday morning he called me early and said that they could do the install that morning! The workers arrived and laid down towels to protect the floor. The install went smoothly, and was complete about 6 hours after the workers arrived (which was the estimated time). After a few days, I noticed an issue with airflow being insufficient in the master, and Nick came out the same day to take a look. He agreed that the airflow was low, and determined that the plenum connection to the master was constricted. He rerouted the duct, and greatly improved the airflow. I appreciated working with Nick and Britton Service Group and would highly recommend them.

Work is done clean fast. Called on Friday for broken AC (air blow but not cold). Steve show up on Saturday and diagnostic it (Freon low). Decide to replace it since it is a 20-year old unit. Install team show up on Tuesday and work is done by 2PM. Job is done clean and nothing left behind. Price quoted better than my expectation. Everything is done smoothly. Will definitely use them again (have another 20-yr unit and who knows how long it will survive). Highly recommend.

The diagnosis (theirs and mine) was spot on. That's why I gave them A's on everything but the "Overall". I'll explain why. I'm the kind of guy that likes to know, with granularity, about what services I pay for actually require. I did the research on the MOT4717 motor and discovered that it is very accessible and suitable replacement parts are abundant. Trane acceptable replacement motors cost between $150 and $250. OEM is between $350 and $430. The problem I have with this company, and why I can never recommend them is that, after paying $49 for the second opinion, I was quoted $690 to replace the motor including the Angie's List discount they offer. The quote they gave me was a flat rate, not a rate for the actual amount of time the swapping takes. The tldr; version is that I spent $174 to replace the capacitor and motor myself in about 90 minutes. The non-tldr version. When I balked at what I knew to be extortion level pricing, they claimed that they only use "OEM" parts. I replied that Trane doesn't manufacture electric motors, and that the OEM part originally installed is just a GE motor. This company probably does very good work, but their pricing is predatory in every way. The technician was professional, and entirely competent so this review should not reflect on him, but instead on the policies of a predatory company.

Excellent company. Determined that the system had a leak. As a first step they tightened everything up, serviced it and recommended waiting 6-8 weeks to see if that fixed it. This avoided the high cost solution that most companies would have immediately jumped to. No up selling just good honest work and advice! Reasonable costs- about 50 for service call and remainder for refrigerant.

Got scheduled in just a couple of days. Came on time, called first, sent email with picture. Did thorough and professional job.

I had earlier paid for their annual VIP maintenance plan so there was no cost for it. Steve was punctual, professional, thorough and highly conscientious about ensuring he did not track dirt into the house. He's come to our house a few times in the past year and his honesty and quality of work is refreshing. I have an older system (13 yrs old) and most of the heating and A/C companies out there will try to sell you a new system instead of simply fixing the current system. Steve told us our system was functioning well with the exception of a fan motor capacitor that tested well under spec. For about $100 I get to keep the system going rather than being pressured into spending thousands for a totally new system.
