I called Billy about 9:30am, after describing the problem over the phone, he gave us an estimate & came over about 30 minutes later. He replaced the capacitor on the outside compressor & cleaned the unit as it had never been serviced. He only charged an extra $5-10 for the cleaning above his estimate.
About 2-3 weeks after this, The electricity in my house went out & the air conditioner was not blowing cold air. I was afraid that the same part had given out again, so I called Billy. Again, he came over within an hour of my call, but by that time, the air conditioner seemed to be working again. He explained that a power outage can cause the air conditioning unit to take a little break & did not charge me for his time, gas, or trouble.
