Mark Reed, the owner of Austin Custom homes is one of the most wonderful men I have ever had the chance to work with! I never thought I would be saying that working with a contractor could be a pleasure, but with Mark it truly was. He goes above and beyond to provide you with more then you expect. Now you know when you have any work done that inevitably something is bound to go wrong, and of course I had a minor glitch with my project too. Well, Mark was able to handle it quickly and efficiently in his usual calm and professional manner. He makes sure that he has all of the needed permits before any work gets started. He makes sure that anyone who comes to the job site not only is insured and bonded, but they are the best of the best in their trade. If they are an electrician, they must be a Master Electrician, same thing for plumbers, framers, etc. He will accept nothing less for you then what he would have for his own home. Mark is quite a perfectionist, so he demands a lot from the people working for him. All of that was very important to me. Each one of the projects were handled in such a way so as to create the least amount of disruption to my life since I work from my home. I was so happy with the overall finish of all the projects, that I am now in negotiations with Mark for some additional work to be done right after the first of the year.
