I found Michael on Craigslist and took a bit of a gamble. I have a large live oak that needed to be trimmed. Michael arrived on time for an estimate on a Sunday afternoon and was very detailed in his explanation. It was obvious he loves trees! I liked him immediately and asked if he could do the work that week. On Wednesday of that same week, he arrived while I was at work, completed all of the trimming, stacked the wood for me (my boyfriend wanted it for BBQ'ing) and cleaned up the yard. I got home that evening to a glorious sight - my extremely large oak tree (over 100in in circumference) had literally lifted towards the sky from the dead weight being cut away. All of the cuts had been treated. Michael's team had also treated the roots of an Ash stump in my back yard to assure it would not regrow (dangerous to my house foundation). He left the invoice in my mailbox, as we had arranged for me to call him for payment that evening. I recommended Micheal to my new neighbors, and while I can't speak for them, they did seem very happy with the work. And I also recommended him to my boyfriend's neighbor for a large job removing several dying trees, and again, while I can't speak on his behalf, he and his wife indicated in a little over-the-fence conversation they were very pleased. I plan to call Michael and his team every year for help keeping my large oak tree healthy. It's a treasure to have such a beautiful tree, and he has helped me treat it with dignity and care at a price that was completely within reach for me.

Very professional and timely. They provide quote as well as ideas, and even went to nursery to pick out plants. They knew I was a novice, and estimated what would work vs not. I plan to invite them back in June to see how all the flowering vines are doing. They do the work themselves, with just 2 folks. Nice to have experts to call upon.
