A TO Z ELECTRONICS

I'd contacted several repair shops and the last one recommended A to Z.  I called and they said they could do the job.  Took the unit in and they had it repaired within a week.

We bought the TV about 2 years ago, and they have had to replace the HDMI board twice, which from what I've heard is the most common part in these big screens to go out.

This time they had to replace the entire display, it flat burned out. Note that this is a part that is almost impossible for a repair shop to even get, because it's 90% of the TV.  When it goes out, you normally trash it. With their pushing their Samsung contacts, and a good chewing out from my wife, Samsung actually paid for the part, and shipped it to them so they could replace it.  We now have, hopefully, a TV that will last a few more years!

These folks are really great, hard working folks who will go beyond trying to fix your TV, instead of telling you it's junk.

I took my set to A to Z and told them the DVD Drive wouldn't read a CD that worked on a different drive. They charged me $45 for an estimate which would be applied to the final cost and it would take 3 to 4 days before they got back to me. 4 days later the receptionist called and told me the entire drive had to be replaced at a cost of $220 and it would take a week to get the drive which I agreed to and to call me when it's ready. The only unpleasant experience I encountered was when I called three weeks later for a progress report the receptionist told me that it had been ready for a while. When I asked why I wasn't called, she got a little testy and told me she had no record that the repair was approved and there was no indication that they were to call when it was ready, even though she was the person I talked with to approve the repair and was also the same person that I asked to call me when it was ready.
