Excellent work on the patio. The problem I had was that they over sprayed onto my siding and have not returned to correct the problem though they have been contacted twice and said they would come and fix the situation. Their inaction with this problem after almost two years has skewed my responses in my rating.

I would not let these folks near your floor. A&B used a product they were unfamilar with and it left a 3x3 "hump" (mound) of product on our floor which was hard as concrete. The balance due at that point was $1K and they said "we are going to waive the $1K in payment for the damage". I responded "that is not acceptable". When I asked them what "we" (both of us) could do to fix the mound, the response was "you can carpet or tile the area"! They walked the job. It cost me about $6,000 to get it fixed. Don't let these folks near your floor. They will hide behind the "artistic results" waiver in their contract. Happy to discuss this directly with anyone at mrfisherUSA01 on gmail use subject line "stained concrete".

"Thank you for leaving your feedback, however I believe you left out a few details of our overall interaction. When we first met, you and your husband began by bragging about suing your contractor, which should’ve been the first red flag for us! We initially overlayed your floor and stained it very much to your satisfaction. Unfortunately, there was a product failure, which was admitted by the company rep right in front of your husband, trim carpenter, and myself. When the company failed to back up their defective product, we came in and removed the failed product at no additional cost to you. As I had another subcontractor bidding to help us demo the floor, your husband once again started screaming and threatening to sue. He even said, and I quote, “I don’t have a lawyer on retainer, I have a law firm!” At that point we were forced to use a new overlay product, that we admittedly had not used before. That product did not perform as expected. Again, at no cost to you, we poured a third overlay. Your overall square footage is in the range of 3400 sq ft. While pouring the third floor, one small area in the back of your bathroom left a slightly lumpy area. At that point we had spent two months, approximately 900 labor hours, and close to $25,000 to try to make it right. We did not walk away, we did not ask you for another dime, we did everything in our power to satisfy you. I have no problem standing by the finished product, it was overall a beautiful floor! We in no way, shape, or form ‘hide behind’ an artistic waiver. The contract simply states that the floor is hand laid and some imperfections should be expected as a result of the process. As to your “$6000” to repair the floor, that too is inaccurate. You spent $6000 because you wanted to change the color of your floor. Then came back to us 7 months later demanding reimbursement for $8000 to “repair” the floor, as well as $3000 to repaint your entire house, which I have photo proof that the paint was not perfect to begin with, and even went as petty as to ask $27 for a garment bag you claim we ripped, which again according to the contract, should not have been in the work space to begin with. That is not our responsibility. I spoke with the contractor that repaired the small area of concern and they said that they wouldn’t have charged more than $500 just to fix that area. So let’s be clear, we bent over backwards to make you happy, despite knowing that you are, as we say in our industry, lawsuit happy. There is certainly something to be said that you have left three reviews on yelp, and every one of them was negative. I am glad that you were able to get the floor up to your unreasonably high standards and wish you nothing but the best as we go our separate ways. Have a good day!"

Everything was great! They were professional, timely and we're easy to schedule and contact. Samples were provided and they were great about answering questions. The work took about 4 days and stayed on schedule. While working they cleaned as they went and sent updates. The floors turned out GREAT!
