Astounding lack of professionalism. The technician/owner was unbelievably non communicative. Emailed her several times about the status of certain parts she claimed to be looking for. For the most part, I got no response from her. Avoid this business. Horrible. Absolutely.

Professional customer service! Great work and in a timely manner. Ended up asking them last minute to fix something else and they did the job the same day. Fantastic service.

Repaired my GE Cafe refrigerator on 6-15-2020. Was charged $793.00 to replace two electronic boards. Today is September 27th. Refrigerator is again not working (exact same issue). Have called them twice. No response !! Nothing !!! Crickets !!!!

THE TECHNICIAN WAS LITERALLY A PRO. HE KNEW AND UNDERSTOOD ALL THE APPLIANCE SYSTEMS AND HOW TO REPAIR THEM. HE HAD ALL THE RIGHT TOOLS AND SPECIALTY SPECIALTY TOOLS. HE ARRIVED WITH ALL THE CORRECT PARTS THAT WOULD BE NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE REPAIRS. HE WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND COMMUNICATED WELL. NOT A LOT OF THESE GUY'S AROUND THESE DAYS

Rivas appliance repair company wasted both my time and money. I have nothing negative to say about the technician (Jose) who came to my property. He was kind and courteous. I take my issue with Caroline, who is the owner of the business and has shown her dishonesty and incompetence. It began when I confirmed my appointment and was told that the service fee to diagnose the issue was $69, and to repair was $129. In our first conversation, I suggested to her that I thought the main PCB panel might have failed. She agreed that it was likely the problem and that she would acquire the correct part. I suggested a part that I found while searching online that may be compatible. She texted me requesting the model number of my washer to confirm the correct part and offered that her resources were better than mine to make this determination. She asked me to send pictures to verify the model of my washer as Jose was at the parts distributor attempting to buy the part. Evidently there was some concern with the compatibility. When Jose arrived at my home with his assistant, he quoted me a different repair cost that was significantly more than what Caroline had given me. I called her immediately and we compromised on a new price for the repair, although it was still higher than originally agreed upon. Jose soon ascertained that the PCB had definitely failed but the part that he had purchased was incorrect. Therefore he was unable to complete the repair. As he was leaving, Caroline decided to charge me $129 instead of the $69 quoted for his diagnostic and offered to apply it towards the total cost of repair to the unit, once they acquired the new part. After my own research on the following day, it turns out that the required part was discontinued several years ago with no substitute options. There were no existing parts available as I checked dozens of suppliers across the US. If Caroline, who should be an expert in these matters, had done her homework then she would have advised me that she could not repair my washer. Instead, she took my money and now I am left to purchase a new one. As far as I am concerned she is incompetent and unprincipled. I would never recommend her appliance repair service. If she has any integrity as a business owner, she will refund my money. And yes, I requested for her to do so and she has not contacted me back.

Riva came at about 5PM. At about 535pm she was finished. She replaced my ice maker on the refrigerator. She told me that in the morning I would have ice. I started having ice about 615pm after she left. All I can say is AMAZING!!! And yes I would refer Riva's Appliance to any one!!!

Scheduled time for arrival of technician was 3-5. Never called to advise technician would be late. Had to call them at 5 to confirm serviceman was still going to make time.

The technician who came out was polite and courteous. The turnaround on my call and the appointment was great. They worked around my work schedule. I felt the cost was high for an ice maker replacement but I may be wrong. To replace on my Samsung may cost that much. Other than the cost of the service my experience was great

Very friendly. Explained everything to be done before starting work, allowed me to choose what tasks I wanted to do at this time and what I wanted to wait and do in the future. Great attitude and helpful.

Jose was knowledge, professional, quick and friendly. Very pleased with quality of work and overall experience. Recommend to anyone needing their refrigerator fixed.

Great work! They were patient with their diagnosis of my problem, but eventually fixed my refrigerator like new! Also were experts with maintenance of my dryer. Very kind and accommodating.

I hired them to come out a check on a fridge that wasn't dispensing ice. They wanted $400 including the $69 trip charge for the diagnostic. Since the fridge was old, I decided to check it myself. The problem ended up being a loose wire. Had they checked the part they claimed was bad properly, which I did off of a youtube video, they would know it was fully functional. Luckily, I was only out the trip charge and what I paid for a part I didn't need.
