They came out to check our house for bed bugs and any other kind. They didn’t find any and did not charge us for it. They were very good.

We have used them in 2 different houses over 10 years. They are responsive and communicate well. I trust Craig and his son completely to go about my house as they please to get the job done. They will come back out anytime I ask them to if I have any issues - at no charge. They also did documentation for my house when I wanted to list it for sale; showing service I had completed. They use safe products. If only all of my service providers were as good as them!!!

We used them for about 10 years. So we like them and we are satisfied with their work. Anytime we call them, the come out, regardless if they just made a visit or not.

The overall experience was great. I really appreciated the time they took to explAIN the termite service to me. I also loved that I felt comfortable enough with them to leave the keys to my house. I have had no on-going problems and I am very happy with the work done. I notice my neighbors continue to try and kill their ants without luck. It pays to have a professional do the work! I also have a yearly contract with ProActive to do my residence and Craig is always very polite and professional. Annette calls a day or so before the service is done and I don't have to worry about it.

We were very pleased with his service. It did take a week to get to our house after making our request, however, there was an out-of-state death in his family that he had to attend. Normally he tries to schedule your home service in less than 5 business days after you make a request. When we contacted them, he apologized quite sincerely for not being able to get to us quickly due to the family death and the necessary travel. The owner (and his wife whom we talked with over the phone) were very professional and curteous. When he arrived, we explained to him the problems we were having and the pests that we were concerned may be a problem. He said he would thoroughly inspect the appropriate areas in our home and the outside. He treated not only for what we requested but also for insects that he saw evidence. The technician discussed with us up front the price and that this was a one time service. He does offer maintenance contracts for pest control and explained these options to us but in no way tried to "sell" such a contract to us. After completing his service and seeing our home and situation, he said, unless we had new specific problems, it may be good if we would call him twice a year for follow-up pest control and he would perform a similar treatment. We did not elect any contract. We do not have a termite problem or a threat of one. Our home is about 6 years old. About four years ago, we had Terminex treat our home under a one year contract. Though their service was not bad I would not recommend them. There were different technicians that came to our home during the contract period - some appeared competent and some were not. The competence, knowledge of the service, cheerfulness and and comfort we felt with them in our home was very pleasing with Proactive Pest Services out of Cedar Hill. It has only been two weeks since their service so we cannot say how long lasting their pest service might be. However, at this point, we definitely recommend them. The owner technician did say they were planning to open a store front in Cedar Hill in the near future. At this location, they would sell different pest control products, offer advice for the do-it-yourselfer, and be a obvious spot for homeowners and businesses seeking various pest control services.

We have a yearly contract. It is part of a termite contract. He comes in quarterly. He is a bee expert. He does our army ants as well as our termites and all inside and outside pests. We have 2 cats. He is very well aware of that. All the chemicals he uses inside the house are pet safe. His wife is his administrator and she always calls and says that he is coming out for the outside work. She asks us to call back if we want the inside so that she can arrange for that.

The small bug problems that I had were taken care of right away. The owner is very nice, polite and responsive. I felt very comfortable having him in my home.
