I took it to a different Best Buy location. They wouldn't let me bring it in to the in-store Geek Squad. They said I'd have to call Geek Squad for a service call. We called & they said it would take a month to get out!  I called this location in Cedar Hill & talked to one of the managers, Carlton. I explained the situation. He said to call Geek Squad & I told him we did & they didn't have any openings for a month. I told him what happened at the the other store, that they refused to take it in-store. He said to just bring it in. They plugged in the screen right there. It obviously had a big line down the middle. He said they would definitely junk it, but that it would probably take a couple weeks for them to finalize that. There weren't any loaners so he said to pick out a new TV. Carlton made right what the other store did wrong. He was so easy to work with on various aspects of this situation. Because he did, we gave them another couple thousands of dollars of business. The store is great - customer service is great - Geek Squad is great. They really care about what makes you happy as a customer at this location.
