It was such a good situation a couple years ago that I've used him several times since then. He always does a very nice job. He's always very neat. I like their service a lot. He does exactly what he says and he's very neat. I like that. He doesn't leave a mess. You know how some people come out and do stuff and your house is just a wreck after. I've had that happen. But, no he does what he's supposed to do. He's very neat with his work. I really appreciate that. The cost was cheap.

Lew assessed all three problems and answered all of our questions in terms that we could understand. The problems all had simple solutions that he fixed quickly but, because he was good at answering questions and he took the time to make sure we understood what he would do, I would have felt comfortable even if the problems had been larger. We would definitely use them again.

We have always been more than pleased with the work we have had done. Lou offers excellent practical and economical suggestions on the work being done. When a job is not one he does (fixing leaks in the slab for example) his recommendations of who to hire for the job are excellent. If Lou recommends someone, we are always comfortable in using his recommendations. Never feel like we need to check around for other options. He's honest, direct, reliable, punctual, efficient and personable. Would NEVER think of hiring anyone else.

Lew Prowse is very knowledgable of all aspects of plumbing and electrical repair work. He arrived when promised with all necessary parts to make the needed repairs. He is also personable and readily explains what he is doing to make repairs and why he needs to do it.

This is the second time I've used Mr. Prowse for my plumbing needs.
He is extremely knowledgeable, well prepared and fast. If your
interested in knowing about the existing problem your having or any

I checked Angie's list, found Mr. Prowse's company, called and made an appointment. He came right on time, a little earlier actually. He explained the process and made adjustments and put on a new bathroom faucet. He had to do some welding work and make adjustments for the faucet to fit properly and did a very nice install. An added bonus is that he works very CLEAN!!! Then he helped me look on computer for a problem I have in the kitchen with a faucet that is hard to get parts for, and told me what to ask for when I speak with them. We're going to do a bathroom/shower redo and he told me what we need to do there. The price was extremely fair and we'll be calling him when we're ready to do the shower!

Total satisfaction and for less money than I had anticipated. Still satisfied. Sink, disposal, and fausets still working flawlessly. Water heater and work to meet existing changed codes still workling beautifully. I have four electrical projects for them to do when tge weatger gets warmer.

Mr. Prowse replaced a leaking outdoor faucet in the summer heat! He told me he would have to shut the water off during the repair and gave me a chance to do anything needed inside before he did while he got his tools out. After he shut the water off, since the grass was a bit high around the cut-off, I decided to trim it and the next thing I knew, he was handing me a knee pad to use! Replacing the faucet required him to break the old faucet out of the mortar which required a lot of pounding. Before he began, he mentioned a brick or two may break (and he said he knew a brick repair man he would get in case that happened), but he removed the old faucet successfully without breaking any bricks at all! He then quickly replaced the faucet and mortar, and the mortar he replaced looks like a professional brick layer did it! The new faucet works much better than the old one, which not only was leaking, but made noise inside the house when in use. The new one doesn't make any noise inside the house at all! I have been using APS for about 20 years to fix, install or replace both electrical and plumbing fixtures. I was referred to Anderson and Prowse by a local plumbing supply dealer when I was trying to Do it Myself. I knew I could do some of the work I was taking on but was not sure about all of it, both plumbing for a gas water heater and a complex, to me, electrical switch problem. Regarding the plumbing, he checked my work, made some corrections, proactively and enthusiastically explained why, and I was good to go. Regarding the electrical multi-switch issue, he examined and knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix immediately. Again... explaining the problem and the solution all along the way... to which I still could not understand, but it all worked perfectly when he was done. I would call Anderson and Prowse in a heartbeat for any plumbing or electrical issues.

The underground PVC pipe leading to my house from the street had broken at a joint which was stressed from a slight change in directions. I had made several attempts to fix it with PVC, all to no avail. The plumber told me about a different repair PEX tubing, with is a flexible pipe, easy to use, designed for such awkward situations, better in every way.

He was excellent and he did a great job. His services are not cheap but it is worth it. I am willing to pay that amount for any electrical work in my house. He is very personable and I am comfortable with him inside my house.

I had spoken with Lew when he was out for an electrical problem about a month previously. I had asked about the problems and cost to remove the installed instant hot water system that did not function correctly. He explained the problems with such a system and provided a quote for the work.

Lou Prowse, the owner of the company, is a retired engineer who knows how to do practically anything. He's really a jack-of-all-trades. The best thing about him is that he gets you good quality products and is very helpful in the selection of them.
