Very well. The provider was very helpful, reasonably priced, and completed all repairs needed! I needed to complete the repairs by a certain date to complete the sale on my home and the provider worked with me to support this request. I would definitely recommend their services to others.

It never went... never responded to my emails and, when I tried to call, I got a generic answering machine message... Left message but no return phone call.

It was fine.  He knew what he was doing.  He was honest and helpful.  Scheduling was hard but I understood since it's a small shop.  Once he was able to come out he did a great job.  You have to be accomdating to schedule because it’s a small shop.  It took him 2 hours to do the work.  He said he would gladly come out to do the 2 hours for the rest of the work which is unbelievable.

The deal expired. I contacted the provider and thought ip we could work something out, but it never happened. I ended up using Jesse's Painting from Angie's List. Probably the best thing that could have happened because Jesse was fabulous. I did not use his deal but just contracted with him the normal way.

We contacted TLC due to an Angie's list deal of buy 1 double-hung window & get 1 free deal. I looked up TLC's history and they had good reviews so I called them for an appointment. Wayne Martin, the owner of TLC, came out to our house on time and was really nice. He listened to our concerns and what we were trying to accomplish with our severely inefficient home (you could fee the wind coming in from our 25 yr old windows). We wanted new windows but weren't looking to spend the $$$$ we were quoted from several other companies. It was such a nice experience to have someone that listened and was willing to do as little or as much as we wanted. Wayne was a no pressure personality, stating he was there to earn our business for a lifetime, not just one job. He readily provided all his background information and proof of proper insurance, etc. He moved at a pace that was comfortable for us given the large decision and he didn't require us to commit same-day.

After working through several options we had laid out ( one where we replace a couple windows, one where we replace all the windows and added fancy styles, etc, and one that was all windows but not fancy styling), we chose the 3rd option as we felt it gave us the most for our money while accomplishing what we ultimately wanted (nice home with no drafty windows). This ultimately lead to the replacement of all 22 windows in our home, add one window, remove 1 window, and change 4 large sliding windows to double-hung windows so that our home now has 26 windows. The nicest part was Wayne didn't require us to pay until we were happy with the result. He wanted us to trust him to do good work so he would trust us first. I thought that was an honest sentiment you don't see with many companies anymore.

After Wayne measured and ordered the windows, it took about a 6 weeks for them to arrive from the manufacturer. Three windows arrived incorrect (Wayne showed me the order and it was a manufacturer mistake) - Considering we ordered 26 windows, it wasn't a surprise to me. Wayne inspected the order when it arrived, caught the errors and had the replacements ordered right away. Since we were getting custom built windows it took about 2 weeks for the replacements to arrive.

Throughout the window installation process, Wayne keep great communication with us. As Wayne is a small business contractor, it was actually a gentleman named, Sammy,  that performed the removal, construction (to add one windows and removed another window), and installation of all the windows. Sammy really just as friendly and would answer any nosy questions I had while remaining professional and staying on task. Sammy also adjusted easily when we asked Wayne to add few additional tasks (re-trim our front door to match the windows).

There was only one hiccup, Sammy had two young guys helping when he first started the job but then they stopped showing up and he had to fire time. However, it didn't effect the schedule and Sammy was able to carry on without them. Being a DIY person myself and watching him work, he really demonstrated craftsmanship, such that a year later, I'm still impressed. I highly recommend them to neighbors and family so I'm writing this review to show my thanks.

They did a good job.  It did take them quite a while to get out to do the work and they went over in time to compensate for it taking so long to get out to do work.  This was a big deal because there was a deadline for insurance purposes.

After several delays and postponements, some my fault, mostly his, we managed to speak on the phone and set a time for a representative to come and look at the job. Two men arrived approximately on time. I spent about a half-hour with them, discussing what needed to be done under the Angie's List coupon and what extras needed to be done in addition to the basic service. We set a date and time for them to come and do the repairs. On the day, about fifteen minutes before they were due, I received a call saying that the "technician's" truck had broken down and that they would call and set up another appointment. I never received a call. I did find a message on the AL site saying they would call. No call. I sent several messages requesting they contact me to set up an appointment. No call. It will soon be a year later and no one has shown up yet to do the repair. I want the money, $149.00, returned so I can go in search of someone who would actually do the job!

They were prompt and professional. I purchased the 2 hr service off Angie's List and I was very pleased with the help the company provided.

The service was one person for 6 hours or 2 for 3 hours. They called in advance and showed up in time. I showed them 4 items that I wanted them to work on. (1) Repair a cracked garage door window - I thought it was plexiglass but it was really glass that was cracked. He was able to take out the glass and then had to go to Lowe's to pick up the replacement glass for garage window frame. Once he returned he put the glass with frame back in. This took longer than expected and was two man job. I am glad I did not try to do this myself. I was very pleased with results. (2) Drywall repair - I had a hole in my garage wall and the helper replaced the drywall and taped/floated. This job was done pretty easily and was OK to my satisfaction since it was in the garage. If it was inside, I would have probably wanted a little more precision. (3) Loose tile - He repaired the once loose tile by gluing it back down and then re-grouted. This came out great. I was extremely pleased. (4) Add electrical outlet in closet - He was unable to perform this task because he was not a licensed electrician.

Overall this was a pretty good deal however in hindsight, I would have had more handyman tasks for them to complete. Since he was not able to install the electrical outlet, I didn't have more tasks to fill in my time.

I purchased this Big Deal April 24, 2014. I had an email from them a few days later asking for my phone number which I sent. I have heard nothing since then and now I am seeing bad reviews on them on Angie's List.

The team was excellent from start to finish. They contacted me promptly after I purchased a Big Deal to let me know they were backed up for a couple of weeks, which was fine, then called again to schedule the job. They showed up right on time and did exactly what I needed. The workmanship was first-rate, and they are very polite and professional. I will definitely use them again for any handyman or contractor services in the future.

The reason I bought this was because I thought the company would contact us within 3 business days, and I never received a response. This defeated the purpose beacuse I needed to have this resolved within 3 days. I contacted them numerous times on multiple occasions. They always had an excuse as to why they couldn't stop by. They came out, but never did follow up with an appointment.

It went very well.  Texas Leisure worked quickly and professionally.   The owner, Mr. Martin and his assistant did an excellent job on replacing and painting the wood. My chimney looks wonderful. I would use Texas Leisure again without hesitation.
