 + -1 moreI will not recommend anyone to hire him as a contractor. He has not returned any of my phone calls or showed up to complete the job that I hired him to do and I am out money because of it. Stay away from Handy Man Plus.
Description of Work: I hired Larry Nelson for two projects on my property. The hardware company in town recommended him and we decided to use him. He wanted half of the cost of the project up front and I hired him to do two jobs. He tore my bathroom completely up and it is not finished yet and it is going to cost me $600 to fix the damage that he has done. It was supposed to be a three day job and now there is just dirt sitting on my bathroom floor.

 + -1 moreHe wanted half the money prior to the two jobs and the rest when he was finished. I made the mistake of giving him half the money for each job which amounted to 725 dollars. He left my bathroom completely torn up. He was going to redo the other bathroom, but he never showed up. He never returned my calls or anything. I now have dirt on the floor and my bathroom is completely torn up. He said it would be a 3 day job. He was going to paint and put linoleum down and everything. I paid him 725 dollars and he never came back. He broke his contract. It’s going to cost 650 dollars just redo the bathrooms. I paid for all the parts and materials to do the job and now I'm going to have to buy sheet rock for the walls.
