+ 0 moreRalph and his helper came the day I bought the house and tore out the carpeting. He then came back with the tile guy to tear out the entrance tile and lay down slate. Over a period of weeks he dug out old caulk on the windows and doors outside and re-caulked (weather delayed him). HE had to work around my schedule when I had to floors refinished. He repainted where needed, applied naval jelly to exposed beam ends in the slab to inhibit rust, and installed mortar to match the brick where some cracks had developed. He also placed some hangars for my plants inside. He always let me know when he was coming; he was polite, cheerful, and a pleasure to have around. If I could give him an A++, I would!
Description of Work: Ralph Szabo did a number of general contractor/handyman type services for me starting on Sept. 6 and finishing 10/09/12. He was recommended to me by my real estate agent as he had done a lot of work for her in the past. He had a licensed plumber extend a gas line for a clothes dryer and gas BBQ, had tile guys tear up old tile and install slate, and he himself caulked and painted a number of exterior spots on the house as well as fixed cracked mortar. He also installed threshold plates to transition from one floor to another where I had changed the flooring.
