Price
$3,846.00 including both units, install, taxes -- that was the amount on the check. I got one competing quote and it was a couple hundred bucks less than Steve Baser. Being within a few percent but higher would get a 'B' but Steve was willing to price match and so got a bump to an 'A'. Attic was one second floor and had tight access.
Quality
It has been one year and there have been no issues. The brand is American made. It is not a high end heater but you only use the heater for a few months at most and they are all efficient these days. He used his own crew, working alongside, and did not use sub contractors or illegal workers. 
Responsiveness/Punctuality
On time. Returned phone calls. Got to job quickly. Was recommended by my real estate agent because of responsiveness and price.
Professionalism
Gets a 'B' because he forget and left my windows open. Heaters often set off fire alarms so Steve opened the windows to keep that from happening. But he didn't close them afterwords and I'm glad I dropped by the house to check later. Overall, could have cleaned up better after the job.
Bottomline, Steve will be my call on my next HVAC need.

Steve came to my rescue after the main AC system froze in our home. I had received a quote from a company we had used for 20 years to replace the unit and was told it would cost me over $7000 because both the outside and inside AC units needed to be replaced and an additional $4500 for a new heating system was recommended! 
I was shocked at the price quoted by my previous AC company and contacted Steve Baser based on a friends recommendation. Steve came out the same day and  quoted $1400 to replace the inside condenser coil, flush the unit, etc....when I told Steve another company had told me I needed both an inside and outside AC units and heating exchange system replaced , he assured me I did not and scheduled to install the new condenser coil the next day. 
I am beyond pleased with his integrity and work ethic and would highly recommend Baser Air Conditioning and Heating to anyone.

Steve is the best!  I have used him for years and would never use anyone else.  He is honest and will not do work unless it is necessary. How often do you find an honest service person these days??  Not often.  My themostat broke recently and Steve came over today to take a look at it.  It does need replacing, but unfortunately he didn't have a heat pump one on his truck.  I suggested him go down the street to Ace to get a new one when he said he would go get me one and come back, but he said those are not the best and he would run to the supply house and come back.  You rock, Steve!!  I am currently waiting for him to come back so don't know the price, but I know it will be reasonable.

Steve Baser hasn't been here yet, just called him. But in the past he has installed new equipment or repaired existing on time and on budget. He will do the same when he arrives to charge our A/C units.

I would use them again.

We have been using Baser Air Conditioning and Heating for about 15 years now. When Steve comes out he correctly diagnoses the problem every time. He is thorough, competent and professional. What impressed me the most on the first visit for A/C was that he told me how I could keep the unit clean once or twice a year and the whole system would last longer. I've done that and we are on year 17 with the original Heating and A/C. When the sytem does finally give out I know Steve will be the one we will ask to install the new unit.

The work went very well. Steve returned promptly once we had decided to go with his solution on a new compressor. His charges were less than the expectations he set and comparitively speaking he was extremely economical. In this day, that is hard to find in his business. You may have to wait for him to get to you (stays very busy for the right reasons) but I'd rather have that than someone who is there in 5 minutes and you spend the next 3 months trying to get them to come back and fix what they did.

He did not know us before we initially called him and although we told him we needed it replaced but would not be able to pay him until after our house closed he didn't hesitate in helping us. Since that time we have used him at our new house and referred him to all our friends and family and couldn't be happier. Even the local company we grew up with wanted to charge us much more than he did. He is very professional and very skilled at his profession.

Like always, Steve is on time and does a great job at great price. He and his co-worker Monte are very polite and do their best to be invisible in your home..
