Once again, Carlos came to the rescue. He returned my VM within 10 minutes and showed up at the house a few hours later. I like his approach - repair before replace. He quickly diagnosed our filter pump that would buzz for 10 seconds and then not come on as a capacitor issue. He replaced it for a reasonable fee. While there, we had him go ahead and replace our noisy booster pump. Great job!

Carlos arrived at the scheduled time, was friendly, and wearing a mask. He came prepared with the necessary parts to either fix or replace the pool light housing. It turns out he need to replace the light housing, and he completed the work inside of 20 minutes!

I had been a customer since my Pool was built. About 6 years; it's a small pool. We have had some challenges with their Service over the years, but for the most part they did a good job. One of my constant complaints was that I was always calling them when my pool had a noticeable leak or issue, despite the fact they come every week to clean the pool - you think they would catch it first. I travel a lot so I wouldn't be able to address pool issues except on Weekends. This last experience ended our relationship. There was a small leak in the Polaris Pump, yet they let the problem sit 2 weeks. I was on the road and would forget to call them on weekends to put in a ticket- still they had to know it was leaking, it was obvious. When I finally set up my apt - they told me my pump was no longer on the market and I would need to spend $600 for a new one, or fix it for $350. I chose the $350 option on a Monday- by Wednesday they still hadn't moved on it. He was texting our home line instead of Mobile. Wednesday we finally got everything locked down and they were going to fix it. I got busy on Thursday and assumed it was being taken care of. On Friday night, I checked and it was still broken. When I confronted the tech he said it was hard to find parts because it was so obsolete - so they didn't bother to call to let me know and insult to injury I entered the part number on Amazon and you can buy the entire pump for $274. Don't trust them anymore, and frankly don't like them anymore. As a Sales Rep, I value my relationship, they were only interested in taking my money. Very sad. I was paying $216.50 a month plus misc. charges over the year for basic maintenance.

The company was Great, they did a great job, they were on time and they provide very good service, they did what I needed them to do.

Carlos did a terrible job with the black algae remediation!  Please text me at 985-414-5331 for photos of what he did to our pool surface.  When I confronted him with the problem he flatly denied it and took no responsibility.

He also did a less than acceptable job on the weekly cleaning.  There were at least 3 occasions where I came home after work to a pool that was still dirty and had leaves floating at the top and bottom of the pool.  There was also an instance where his employee did not even finish putting the chlorine tablets in the retainer.  He simply left them out on the pool deck and I had to put them in the pool myself.  I once made the lack of a clean pool known to Carlos and his only comment was that his employee had been to the pool and had signed in.  Once again please text me and I'll send you the conversation.  But why take the chance with a contractor who would put a customer through all of this and not take any responsibility for anything.

Finally I had had enough and told him he was fired.  He promptly reminded me that I still owed him for an additional month's services even if he didn't do the work per some contract that we had signed.  He even had the nerve to send us a bill for the work he did when he completely ruined the bottom surface of the pool. I'll be happy to show you the bill and his sarcastic and crass text messages. 

I want to make one more thing known to potential users of his "services:"  He was extremely rude and disrespectful to my wife to the point where my wife did not want him back on the premise because she was creaped out by him.  At one point he even tried to pit us against one another.  Listen, this guy wants your money and that's it!  Stay away!  If you know what's good for you then you will not hire this guy!

Keeps pool clean. Not sure if they check chemicals or they just quess at it. They have broken some filters before and have not checked or emptied the pump filter. Seems you have to watch them or have another pool service to double check there work some times.

The previous provider had neglected to inform me of issues and the pool was in need of many repairs.   The filter was neglected and leaking.  The pump was leaking.  The SPA was no longer overflowing into the main pool.  And the Polaris was not working at all.
Carlos gave me options and  estimates to fix everything.  He also offered to take over my weekly service at a great rate.  
We agreed on what was to be done and he immediately began working on the pool - before I gave him payment or had met him in person!   This was still done via text.
I met Carlos later that evening as he was willing to meet me after I got home from work.   I then gave him payment info and signed up for the weekly service.   He went ahead and did some more work on the pool (it needs a lot) that evening.  He has since been out each day since then to continue working on my repairs.   
I couldn't be more pleased and appreciative of his professionalism and knowledge and trustworthiness.
I wish there was an A+ rating to give to Carlos.

I did a lot of shopping around local and internet so I was ready for all pricing.
I am also aware that not having a licensed professional install your expensive pool equipment your hardware warrantee is 90 days and with professional install the warrantee is a year or more.
I am writing the review two months after the purchase and service and I am 100% satisfied.
I have ran the heater every day all day keeping 40k gallon pool at 95 degrees without issue.
install is expert and well done.
I will be using Carlos for All future Pool needs.

Just started last month, but these guys have been very responsive and the pool looks great.  They immediately got me out of trouble caused by the lack of attention from my previous provider, Sparkle Pools, that I inherited when we purchased the house. 
Their price is about the same as other full service providers.   So far, I would highly recommend them.  I will update next year.

I just moved into the area and came home to a green pool. Carlos was
extremely quick to return my call within an hour of leaving a message.
He showed up the same day to assess the situation and started service.
(Another service provider told me the pool would need to be completely
drained.) The pool was back to it's crystal blue in 3 days time without
having to drain it. He came back twice to check up on the progress and
to continue the service.
I will be using Carlos and his team again. He was polite, professional, and honest in his assessment.

Carlos arrived as scheduled, perfomed diagnostics, consulted with Jandy technical support about defective salt sensor.  The Jandy equipment is under warranty; Jandy will arrive in few days to evaluate/replace.  Further, Carlos determined our DE filter system was defective.  He recommended we replace it with a Pentair cartridge filter; to which we agreed.  Note: an internet search resulted in multiple pool experts giving the same recommendation as Carlos. We are satisfied with the results and should we have pool issues again we will call Carlos.  Throughout the process Carlos kept us infomed and was overall very responsive.

Called him in the morning and within 2 hours he returned my call. He came by my house after a full day of working other jobs. He stayed until around 8:30PM troubleshooting and found the problem. Unfortunately he did not have the exact part, so he scheduled a return visit the next day (once again, after a full day of work). He returned on time and fixed the issue. Carlos is very professional and what impressed me most is that he took the time to explain what was going on and what he was doing. He is now the person I will go to for any pool repairs.

Pacific was very responsive and informative.  I was not only looking for work to be done, I was also seeking someone who really knew pools and would offer options.  Carlos did both.  We were very pleased with his expertise and the professionalism of the crew that he sent to us.  We were so happy with price (absolutely no ups or hidden costs) workmanship and timeliness of completion that we are definitely going to use the company's services for a pool resurfacing next fall.

He recommended a filter service and found out that there were issues with filter that reduced the efficiency by 50%.  He repaired the filter and cleaned the cartridges.  Then came back three times to remove the algae and see if the problem was resolved.  Overall he was very professional, arrived when he said he would and performed the work with pride.  He works to please the customer and has vast knowledge of pools.

I was well pleased with all aspects of Pacific Pool Service. Carlos was professional and responsive. He renovated a pool that was in terrible condition and did a beautiful job at a reasonable price. My only criticism was with the subcontractor he hired to find leaks in the pool at a cost of about $500. Although they identified one leak, that Carlos repaired, they said that there were no more. But the pool continued to drop two or three inches each week. They insisted that there were no leaks and that the drop was due to high winds and evaporation. I got a referral to another leak detection firm -- All Tech Leak Detection in Murphy, TX--and they came out, found several leaks and repaired all of them quickly. I suggested to Carlos that he use the company in Murphy, TX for his future leak detection. The bottom line is that Carlos was professional and honest. I would certainly recommend him to anyone.
