Estimator Randall Keown was very friendly and professional.  Serviceman Billy was excellent, but seeing the proposed door made us want an upgrade from conventional to insulated door, so we rescheduled.  Serviceman Sergio was excellent as well -- quick, friendly, professional -- and did a first-rate installation.  Thanks to you all.

I've been using this company for both residential and commercial service for well over 20 years, and wholeheartedly recommend them.  But insist on THIS company by THIS name, because there are companies out there that try to hijack their good name and don't perform.

They came, they demo'ed, they installed, hauled away the old junk, cleaned out the garage & driveway to ensure no screws/bolts were left to blow my tires out. They went the extra mile. My new garage is stellar, I luv it!  I luv then.
By the way .... Overhead Carrollton quoted me the price, and that's all I paid.Their price was less than many other quotes that I'd gotten, including Overhead Door in Plano, who wanted $400 more. Go figure.

Very well. Prompt response, and very professional, both in estimation and installation. Only issue was contacting them originally, as the door failed on a Saturday, and it was difficult to get in touch with them until Monday. Very prompt after that.

They did a good job and he worked quickly.  I think they are espensive.

Overhead was great!  My contact was Kelly and he helped a ton from coming out to the house detailing my options to constant communication until the job was done.  This company was a referral to me and I will absolutely refer them as well.  Price was also great compared to other quotes. 

PRO:  Kelly on the phone seemed knowledgeable about technical details and available options, and was willing to look up things he wasn't certain of.  The installer called in advance as promised, arrived within the scheduled window, appeared very neat and organized,  and completed the job (mostly; see below) in the estimated time.  The quoted installed price included tax.  The new screw-drive opener is quiet and fast, and the initial quality seems good.
CON: The installer didn't check operation of the remotes outside the garage, and explained delays in response of the opener to the remotes as a "safety feature". Consequently I had to adjust the opener's antenna to get reliable operation.
On the whole I'm happy with the result, but providers should (1) not invent explanations, and (2) thoroughly check operation after installation. Thus the overall "B".

I called them at 6:05 am and a live person answered on the 2nd ring.  He was very understanding, as were trapped in our garage, and could not lift the door after the spring had broken.  He said they were booked but would have someone out there this afternoon.  About 8;15am the technician called and on his way with an ETA of 20mins.  He was there an had left by 9am.  Very professional, and excellent response time and did excellent work.  $240 to replace broken spring.  Even put a little heavier duty spring to help last longer next time.

Two guys arrived and quickly removed and replaced our old opener.  I asked them to check the door and they did, including lubricating everything with WD40, which seemed to help the door operation.
They then programmed both our vehicles built in transmitters to work with the new door opener.  This can be a challenge with the different vehicle types. 
All of this took them about 1.5 hours.
One of the techs picked up one of my tools and left with it.  He found it and returned it the next day.

I took my garage door opener to the company building and showed it to them and told them it did not work.  They took the unit, tested it, and sure enough, it didn't work.  They replaced the batteries, but it still didn't work.  The repairman noticed that the back cover was not closing properly and replaced it with a spare part he had in a drawer, and everything worked fine.  He tested it on their tester and it passed.  I paid, took it home, and it opened and closed the garage door.  I have had their garage door system for over 30 years and it still works great.

The guy came out the first day and changed the code and didn't charge me upfront. They came back to replace the opener. It was a great experience. They took care of me.

I like that a live person answers the phone. She and my repairman were polite and professional from start to finish. The repairman was helpful and checked everything to be sure the door opener was working properly. He fixed an older door so I didn't have to buy a new one yet!

He did an excellent job, but it was a little expensive.

Ok.  I called because my garage door wasn't going down all the way.  They came out and adjusted the 'eye's' at the bottom of the door.  It seems they had come out of alignment.  It took him a total of 2 minutes to complete the adjustment.  I think they could have told me this over the phone and saved me a trip charge!  Sometimes providing good service means preventing a service call!  I would have recommended them t o all my neighbors had they done this. 

It went very well and I will definitely call them again.

They were great. They were on time and did work quickly and efficient.

Great. Patrick was easy to work with and very professional. While the set labor charge is high, it includes everything they do to the door in that call. Parts totaled $310, labor was $128, the rest tax. I highly recomend Overhead Door, and Patrick in particular.

The door was for my 2 car garage. It was a metal garage door. They had to removed the old heavy garage door. They had to deal with installation problems like clearance issues. They did a great job with them, and haven't had any problems since. My old door was an old wooden one, and it wouldn't respond with my sensor, so with this light weight one, if it doesn't open with the sensor, I can just lift it!

I think that this company was right on target. They gave me a price over the phone that was spot on. The workers showed up early and finished the job early. Everything was just satisfactory.

Called Monday around noon and got appointment for Tuesday 2pm - 4pm. (They offered me one Tuesday morning from 8:00-10:00am but I chose later in the day.) Since the garage door was mostly closed, next day service worked fine for us. On Tuesday, Kerby called me when he was on his way and he got there around 2:30. (He had tried to come earlier but I missed his call so he had to wait on me to get home!) He immediately saw the problem and had it fixed in about 15 minutes. I was very satisfied all around with this repair - fast service and fair price.

They were here on the day that they promised and did a great job.

Roel came to my house Monday morning 2/26/07 at 10 am just as the company representative had scheduled. He explained my problem and why the problem occurred. He set my cable back on track using some sort of tool used to decrease the pressure on the main coil. He further explained the reason the coil came undone is because the particular model of garage door that I purchased is a "fast" open door. He explained that he could change it to a normal speed open and this would decrease the problem and allow him to provide a warranty on the work. I agreed to let him change that setting. Roel also lubricated the springs and wheels and showed me how to do it myself in the future. He answered all of my questions and I am happy with the service.
