After we took the computer in after someone else had charged us to fixed it, and it still was not working,  the email is working we can now send and received emails.
He wonder why we were using Window mail instead of Microsoft Office Outlook, Al asked if we could leave it another day for Microsoft Office to be installed.
If the email or viruses could not be resolved the service would be free.
He did an Excellent job.

I carried my cherished broken laptop into this tiny place located in a strip shopping center at Josey and Beltline. I'd never been there before. Could I trust them with my cherished laptop? I had read the excellent reviews on Angie's List. So I left my baby with him. What a wise decision I made! The hardware issue was not an easy one, possibly not repairable, but he said he'd see what he could do, and at least he could transfer the files from it to a flash drive, if I'd bring one when I picked up the laptop. I picked up my laptop a week later....he had been able to repair it, but probably only temporarily, he warned. If it happened again, it'd need the motherboard replaced. I couldn't have asked for more! I got my files from the laptop to put on my desktop at home, and I got more time from my sick laptop without having to shell out for a new laptop right now. Excellent! I couldn't be more pleased. Thank goodness for Angie's List. I never would've found this place without it. And if I did, I never would've trusted it, since it's such a small place. The men that run this place gave attention to my problem and really worked on it. It took about a week and half for them to get to it and fix it, so be patient. There are other computers there to be repaired, too! I will be giving this business all my computer repair/refurbish business in the future and will recommend it here and to anyone who needs this type of service. Excellent, MSC! And thanks!

It went great. Assessment and fixing the problem was handled within a 24 hour period. Very professional and Im very pleased.

MSc Computers listened attentively to my description of the problem, told me an estimate for evaluation and then called back promptly when promised to tell me they could save the data from the drive and the total cost of repair and that I could pick up
the next day.

I dropped my laptop off on Monday afternoon and had it back on Wednesday. The problem was diagnosed as a software issue, the harddrive was "cleaned" and software reloaded. No more freezing problem and runs overall much better and faster.

I took the computer in with multiple problems of connection, printing, and sound as well as slow operation and downloads. He diagnosed the problems as virus and spyware issues, which he fixed. When he calledto tell me it was ready, he suggested adding ram to speed things up. I agreed and he installed it for the cost of the hardware. All his labor was covered by the $79 diagnosis fee, and he gave me a $10 discount on that. It was a very satisfying transaction all around. The computer is operating like new.

I asked whether or not they repaired backlighting on laptops and was told that no they didn't. Also, didn't have any recommendations on where to have this type repair done. Obviously these weren't the answers I was hoping for but the person was polite and friendly.

The power gave out on my computer after running anti-virus software an unfortunate 4 times in a row (Thanks Clunky Windows Vista!) After playing phone and email tag with someone my husband recommended, I searched Angies List for my town and called MSC. After a short conversation, I decided to bring the unit in. The shop front looks ratty, but they were very reassuring about fixing my problem. I had a new internal power source installed ($49.95) and my $69.95 service call included not only the install, but a virus scan, defrag, general cleanup and a performance optimization of my unit. They also loaded a better (and free!) antivirus/antispyware and give me some tips on antiviruses and anti-spyware, including the products I had installed that weren't working well for me. They also did a virus scan of my backup flash drive that was plugged into the unit when the spyware attacked! The power supply that was taken out was shown and offered to me, as well as the box for the replacement power supply. I've been using the unit for a couple of hours now, and it's a lot faster. There are no viruses on it, and no data was lost!

I am really happy to have my laptop back and that the cost was so affordable. I've been doing business with MSC since about 1995 and they've always done a great job - whether it was repairs or building a new computer to my specifications. I recommend them every time I know someone who is looking for a new computer or needing service.
