About us
We custom design, build, and repair backyard Decks, Arbors, Bridges, and Adirondack chairs. We use screws instead of nails on all our structures and our Arbors' beams/rafters are notched and interlocked together. Not only do we offer staining of existing structures, but we also pre-stain most of our projects using our patented WIT Brushless Pre-Staining System. Mike built for me a set of one of a kind wooden chairs and ottomans. The chairs are slightly over sized with a really sleek design. The ottomans also have a good curve (tear drop) that flow well with the chairs. They are very comfortable and I use them every night in my backyard. I had one built for my wife as well. I looked around at nebraska furniture and a couple of local stores and they all seemed small and not very well built. These chairs have a lot of craftsman ship and attention to detail. He also had them stained to match my fence he built last year. I have gotten great compliments from family and friends. Mike hand built these chairs at a resonable price and got them to me on time. I highly recommend Massey Woodworks to anyone who wants beautiful one of a kind chairs that will last the test of time in our crazy Texas weather.

I've had Mike do work before for me and was completely satisfied with the quality, price and professionalism of his company.
I was trying to buy a mantel I like online, but I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. I contacted Mike to see if he could make one for me, and he said yes and even sent me pictures of a couple he has made. He created my mantel to my exact specs, and it was beautiful. One of the things that I really like about his mantels is that there is no visible hardware.

Masseys did a wonderful job. When the owner is not doing the work himself, his workers are great. They speak English, they are polite, and they clean up thoroughly. They are good communicators, they show up when they say they will and complete the job on time. Our fence now gives a great back drop to our landscaping.

They took a few more days to finish than we expected but was worth the wait. Bit sloppy with wood stain -got stain on my driveway but has worn off.

My experience with Mr. Massey and his crew was very refreshing. They were personable, courteous and listened to my needs when designing the project. Although he and his crew have done 4 projects for me in the last 3 years, I do not feel bias toward him. His workmanship is outstanding and has improved the value of my home and property.
