Locksmith

We asked for three doors to have one-way deadbolts added on a house we had just freshly renovated. We provided hardware. The locksmith was over an hour late and very new to the trade. He didn't have tools (like a drill) and had to run out for them and borrow ours. He messed up the fresh paint job on all three doors - scratching one really badly, about a 6" scratch/dent in the door. Two of the three locks had the holes drilled much too large and the deadbolt hardware didn't cover the holes that were drilled, and they were all three loose in the door, easily moved back and forth. No cleanup was done so there was sawdust and metal shavings all over the new floors. No backplates were added or offered. It took several hours. Two of the three doors were ruined because of the too-large holes drilled in them - we couldn't find secure hardware to cover the holes. We ended up having to have the whole thing redone. We should have but didn't contact the company to complain because frankly we didn't want these people on our property again.
