We found ourselves flabbergasted at the behavior of this agent. We wanted to buy the house. The sellers wanted to sell the house and the agent kept creating issues that nearly ruined the sale. She was aggressive, argumentative and downright rude to us and I was ready to pull out of the purchase just because of her behavior. The house we bought had major issues with its HVAC system to the extent that the technician we brought in to inspect the system actually had to turn it off since it was likely leaking carbon monoxide into the air. The agent brought in her own technician to say that the system was fine. We finally had both technicians come to the house and they agreed that the heating system had to be replaced and was a health hazard. Ms. Johnston handled the situation very poorly and was overly aggressive and insulting. After this, she began not returning phone calls and ignoring messages our agent left for her. While both parties were still interested in completing the sale, she made the entire process unnecessarily painful. The sale of the home did go through with us sorting things out (at times directly with the seller) and ignoring her as much as we possibly could. What rankled the most is that after her terrible performance as an agent she probably still got her agent's commission for listing the house. She did not sell us the house - the house sold itself in spite of her. I do not recommend her to anyone as an agent. If I am ever in the position to buy a home again I will not even look at a home listed by this agent since dealing with her was just terrible.
