Description of Work: This company called me for my remodel from your referral. They bid on my wood flooring, tile flooring, and kitchen demolition. They told me they had experience from their church and Edwards mothers house. I asked about insurance and they said they had full coverage, but did not know if it included demolition. I told them the coverage had to include the demolition and they needed to find out. Edward's partner, Richard called me and told me the insurance would cover the demolition; therefore, I hired them. They had to relay the kitchen tile because it was so poorly done, the 1/2 bath tile is still laying incomplete, the wood flooring is so poorly cut that I had to fire them on Friday the 19th. All of the cuts are too short, the stairs were cut so short, they tried filling the sides with caulk, the toes to the stairs were put upside down, which I had to point out to them. I finally had had enough, started crying and told them to get out! I have had two other contractors over to look at the work, and both have said the tile has to be completely relayed and a large portion of the wood has to be `redone; unfortunately, they wasted approximately 500sf of wood from bad cuts and approximately 300 sf of 18" tile. I have not paid them anything up to this point because I was waiting for their insurance adjuster to call me; however, Edward called yesterday and told me their insurance does not cover the floors. His mother then called me threatening lawyers if I did not pay them for their work! I have had some seriously bad experiences with your referrals. My house is destroyed, I now have only 1/2 of the materials needed for my floors, and now I am going to have to pay someone double the price that Edward and Richard bid. I am so angry and need to know how I am supposed to recover and now afford this project??? Please respond as soon as possible. I'm afraid you and Edward are going to get some very negative media time on this one! Lisa Posey P.S.
