I couldn't have asked for a more punctual and professional tradesman. Archie was very punctual and professional in his workmanship. You can tell he loves what he does, and it shows in his work! I now have a "Go To" for future projects without hesitation!

Archie and his team are the most professional contractors I've ever met. When Archie says he'll be there at 8, he's there 5 minutes early. He's never been late or absent without calling ahead. And he's very conscientious about his work. I recently had him patch some cracks and paint a room with very high ceilings. He did a terrific job on the walls, making the room look better than new. I have an unusual texture on my walls and he knew exactly how to match it. I've hired him 3 or 4 times now, and he's reliable and produces quality work every time.

We love Archie and his crew. They were always on time, which I appreciated. Archie spent the time digging through the 4-5 ceiling paints we had to find the right paint for the different ceilings. They put plastic over everything but there was still a lot of dust to clean up. It's the nature of the repairs, I think. I've only one more thing to say -- HIS PATCHES MATCHES!

A plumber had to Swiss cheese our wall and ceiling to fix a leak. Archie came out the next day, showed up 15 minutes early and had the job wrapped up quickly. He pays attention to details: not only drywall texture, but had to repair trim work on our coffered ceiling. Left us with some cleanup, but he's a pro.

Archie and his assistances did an outstanding job installing sheetrock and drywall to ceiling. Their professionalism in the workmanship completed is clearly displayed. Area repaired shows no sign of previous skylights in place, texture, color looks great.

I have had Archie do work for me in the past and it went OK. He didn't put down a barrier on the floor with the last project so i had to spend 2 hours scrubbing mud off concrete because thinset doesn't stick to mud. He should know better. This time I specifically asked for the floor to be covered and was told it was okay as is. I had to put my foot down and explain that thinset does not adhere to mud. UGH ... pretty sure if I was a man, my request would have been honored immediately. This time, Archie had 2 helpers and i believe that is where it all went wrong. I am very detailed and had all of my electrical boxes level and plumb and at the precise depth for 1/2 sheetrock. Electrical code requires the box to be recessed no more than 3/8 inch from outer sheetrock edge. Well, the boxes ended up being shoved behind the sheetrock because cuts to accommodate them in the sheetrock were not done well. They had to cut out the sheetrock once i noticed later in order to fix the boxes since they were so messed up. One was extremely lopsided which is extremely noticeable with a 3 switch box. Also, the sheetrock was seamed above all of the doors on both corners which is not the way it should be done. I chose my battles and didn't complain about this, but i am sure i will have cracking at some point and will regret not speaking up. A professional should know not to seam at door corners which is the most common area for cracks. I just started adding molding around the doors and the sheetrock sticks out by 1/2 on some spots. I suspect it is because they didn't proporly cut around a box for a wall light which caused the sheetrock to protrude. I messaged Archie asking WTH should I do with this??? The moldings will not sit flush against the door frame ... like a 1/2 inch gap! No response. No apology. I am going to try to cut the sheetrock back so that my molding can sit flush against the frame. Praying this works and i don't have to get someone in to fix it. It's a disaster and a sheetrocker should absolutely know better!!! It's like they didn't think about what happens next because they won't be there. Or maybe they just didn't know. I had a medicine cabinet that Archie suggested i put in while mudding so that it will look better. I was hesitant because metal trowels pose a huge risk around glass. He promised to be careful. I asked him to wrap it with padding which he did not. Just very thin plastic. Well, after he left and I pulled off the plastic, it was cracked. My heart just sank. At the end of the day, i should have listened to my gut about putting it in after the sheetrock was done or INSISTED that the glass be better protected. He did end up paying me for a new medicine cabinet but offered nothing in terms of installing it. This project was HUGE and I really didn't need to spend time doing rework because of carelessness. Taking 5 minutes to prevent hours in extra work seems like a no brainer to me! I would certainly do things differently if i had to do it over. Definitely would not use the 2 guys who did most of the work. They are nice and polite people, but the most important thing is the quality of the work, and sadly there was a lot of carelessness this time.

I could not be more pleased! Archie and his crew did an absolutely fantastic job! We are very particular in the quality of the work done and in the care and preparation of the areas to be worked on. They went beyond our expectations in taping and covering all areas they were working on to make certain there would be no damage and did an excellent repair, touchup and painting job. Archie is very punctual and he and his team were on time to the minute 4 days straight for the job. He is very responsive, keeps his word, and he and his crew are very pleasant and a delight to work with. Highly recommend his services. You will not be disappointed.

Archie did a great job on our drywall repairs that were needed as a result of plumbing repair. We have unique texturing and the repairs were in a living room entering our room so we were sensitive to the look of the repairs as you entered our room. Archie's theme of 'patches that matches' came to reality so I definitely recommend and would use him again. Price competitive and although I had a lower bid, the quality for the price made Golden Key Drywall the right option. I am completely satisfied with the quality of the job, time to complete, and their attention to ensuring my home was minimally impacted as they complete the work.

I found an experienced professional who negotiated a deal with me quickly at a very fair price. He showed up at the exact appointment time, took covid precautions, completed the job which looks like new, cleaned up and controlled the mess and even reduced the quoted price at the end. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him highly.

I had initially gotten a quote from another contractor who never followed up on the repairs and stopped replying to my messages. The quote I got from Archie was right there with the first quote I received so I know his prices are fair. Not only that, Archie went that extra mile to do a good job. The work far exceeded my expectations. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

We had a chimney leaks that was coming into our family room. Archie worked with us to first have the sheet rock removed so the chimney repair contractor could easily find the leak and make the repiar. He then installed new instalation and sheetrock. The match to what we have is amzing and he was alway on time. Highly recomend.

Archie and his crew did a fabulous job! We had numerous cracks in the ceiling and walls that needed drywall repair, and the whole house needed walls and woodwork painting. The job took one week and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. The entire crew were professional and extremely diligent in the work they performed. The final result looks incredible and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

Archie was always punctual, has great communication skills and methodically completed the work. Archie and his assistant are very detail oriented and want to be sure the work is properly done. They segmented the work into a schedule and came by over the course of several days after each needed application of the drywall process. He cut the old drywall, exposed the source of the leak, and repaired the drywall so there were no seams, applied clay applications and painted. Perfect, like new! He was also helpful in determining the source of the leak outside our home by exposing the areas inside where the leak was emanating from the outside which assisted the workmen repairing our outside walls. I will definitely use Archie again if needed for other interior drywall repairs.

Archie and his crew did a beautiful job! This is a 1986 mobile home with the original siding. There were multitudes of rotting sections of siding all around the home. He replaced numerous full sheets, and repaired all rotted sections. I had gotten a new roof a few years ago. The roofer had skipped out without finishing the fascia although it was included in the bid. The four corners of the home were left with big holes on all four corners. He repaired all four corners and caulked all around, and painted. It looks great! Archie and his crew worked around some pretty severe weather, but were here every possible day. They are a very talented crew and can do so much more than drywall. They handled the job like the pros they are. I would highly recommend. I have a list inside a mile long as well. He is going to help me first) get this place liveable, and then second) get it marketable. He is a find!

Archie and his crew did amazing work. I have a 30 year old home and some ceilings were having cracking due to shifting and to to age. Also the garage had many areas were taping on drywall that had come loose. Archie explained to me that 30 years ago code was different and drywall was nailed not screwed in place so it didn’t stay in place as securely. His quote was competitive and I knew after speaking to him I would get the best quality most lasting result. He repaired the entire garage and painted it, Completely redid the ceiling in my den and repaired cracks in a very tall formal living from that amounted to almost half the ceiling to repair correctly and painted all. I am so pleased because this is not a band-aid repair but I know it is properly done. They are professionals and it looks amazing and will last!
