We hired Five-Points Construction to complete a retaining wall and new steps to our home. Once construction started, it was identified the bid did not include some additional railroad ties and then we were informed that the sidewalk project needed an additional sub-base and would need to be thicker. They would verbally tell us they would make it happen, but once forced to put it in writing the price would increase. The exposed aggregate finish on the sidewalk was made with a power washer. The cement residue sprayed off went onto our home and coated the new wall. When the contractor came to fix the overspray, the retaining wall was chipped. Also, the supposed extra sub-grade prep did not work. Normal cracking is to be expected but not the separation of stairs from landing. The contractor did not honor the warranty. There is not a positive slope away from our front door either so water ponds right where people walk every time it rains. Rebar is exposed on edge of the walk as well indicating there was not adequate concrete coverage. Five Points did not carry at work in an appropriate work like manner. The contractor also continued on work that costs more money prior to receiving approval from us on additional costs.

"The project for Mr. Tull was completed in November of 2019 not only did he sign off on the completion of the project being satisfied but this was also inspected and approved by the city. When he made contact with our general project manager and made us aware of repairs after over a year of the project being completed, he was then made aware per our customer agreement contract which states we are able to do the repairs for up to a year after projects completion date. In this case we made an exception and advised we would cover the labor but he would be liable for the materials, which he refused to cover. Our General Project Manager went over multiple options for the retaining wall and steps including additional add ins including but not limited to the stone and/or sand base prior to starting project. We included the stone base per the signed agreement. He was also made aware that he should readjust the front yard to allow for the grade to go with the drainage but the client elected not to move forward due to cost."

Five Points Construction & Desmond and his team were real easy to work with. I explained what I needed done and he gave a fair estimate with the understanding that it could change when they began the tear out of the current driveway, minor adjustments were made I felt that was fair and no problem.All work was done in 2 days and it looks great, if I have anymore projects I will hire Five Points Construction again

When a problem occurred, that was outside of our control, Desmond and the team went above and beyond to work through the matter until it was corrected without charging extra the delays. Damian and his crew held up to their word. The quality of work looked very good and was done exactly when they said it would be. The only reason I did not give them all 5 s was because the clean up could have been better. I had quite a bit of scrubbing to get splatter off walls and shovel work to fix ruts created by the concrete truck. Their actual prep, pour and concrete finish out was very nice. I have recommended them to some friends.

Got the quote on Monday, they started on Tuesday and finished the same day. They replaced 35 feet of sidewalk and added a 5 x 39 addition to the side of my drive. The concrete work looks great and they cleaned up the area to my satisfaction. Very good friendly company to work with.

Polite, professional and punctual. I had entire driveway rebuild by them. The work was completed as promised and planned. Once the work started some additional cost was identified. I confirmed the additional work required and carried out. It was indeed necessary. Completed all contracted and minor non contracted but discussed activities. Very satisfied.

They came out to pour concrete and within a month it cracked because they did not lay down gravel first. The contractor never came out to look at the problem. They came and put purple paint over the cracks to mend the concrete back together, but its still there and looks terrible. The contractor refuses to come out to see or even address the problem. He has not gotten back with me about a refund and wont answer my calls.

Due to the heat levels issues remained and we also sent someone out to repair which you turned away requesting our General Manager to come out or requesting a refund. You are not owed a refund as we have fulfilled the work agreed to in the contract. We have attempted to resolve this matter but you seem to only want to hear a refund which is not an option. Sorry we were not able to come to a resolve and wish you well in your future endeavors."

Honesty and integrity: zero stars. We hired Five Points Construction to complete a garage concrete slab and driveway. Shortly after paying the 10% deposit and 50% of the total project cost ($13,380), it was identified the bid did not include some key elements of the engineered plan, as well we decided the slab should be smaller. In short, once they had our deposit, they took every opportunity to identify ways to increase costs. They would verbally tell us they would make it happen, but once forced to put it in writing the price would increase. We were unable to reach an agreement with Five Points Construction on the revised pricing for the smaller plan and canceled the project. Now Five Points Construction (or individual) refuses to refund our project deposit. The project was cancelled and Five Points Construction has refused to return my Project Deposit of $13,379. I am now forced to engage legal counsel, at additional expense, to assist in getting my project deposit back. Is this someone you want to do business with?

This was a positive experience. From the initial estimate throughout the entire work effort, he constantly kept me apprised of the work progress and any issues they encountered. The final product was completed to my satisfaction. Although, the weather tended not to be cooperative with the rain delays, he was able to get the job completed in reasonable fashion. Definitely recommend him for work and will consider him in the future as I expand out the back patio.
