They did a good and I would use them again.

Back in the fall, there was a listing for a Fabulous Floors franchise owned by a woman, which pleased me. But when I called the number listed I was forwarded to another franchise owned by Michael. He didn't have wonderful telephone skills, but once we met I was very pleased with his attitude and his friendliness. I didn't tell Michael that I have experience with wood finishing and knew what to expect, and I was very satisfied with his approach and technique. He explained everything well and didn't condescend to me. (As a woman, I am sometimes patted on the head by workmen). He explained the training he had undertaken to learn the technique and said that he had been doing the resurfacing for three years. The process of buffing off the top of the old finish and reapplying a new one is fairly quick and straightforward if there has not been damage to the floor. Michael could have done all 750 square feet in one day, but we needed to have the resurfacing done over a two-day period so that we could divide the job between living areas in the house. Michael was very accommodating. He worked quickly and thoroughly and got the little details right, including touchup on the stain. When I decided I wanted a second coat on the floor we had a good discussion about which product to use. He was again accommodating to our schedule and priced the additional work appropriately. Michael did a good job on the floor and provided me with information on the product he used for future reference. He estimated that the new surface would stand up to five years of use. We are pleased to have the floor protected and attractive again, in a short time frame, and at a very reasonable price.
