see above. The service was delivery of a mattress set.
Description of Work: This company was contracted to deliver a mattress set that was purchased through the Home Shopping Network or HSN. The original purchase date was February 21, 2012. The estimated delivery date was March 17, 2012. Around this time (the middle of March) the above name company was calling me to schedule a delivery time. Because I live in the rural area outside of Dallas, the next available delivery date was on this date March 26, 2012 which was 10 days. I was informed that there would be a notice that the items would be delivered and someone would contact me with a two hour time frame of delivery. At 7:50 in the morning, I received a call stating that the delivery would occur between 8 and 9 am, which was a 10 minute notice. I was about to take my daughter to school and knowing that I lived so far in the country it was unlikely they were 10 minutes away and calling me to set up for 8 am so I told them that I had to take her to school and I would return by 8:30. They informed me quickly that they would have to reschedule if I was not going to be here. I said no I don't want to reschedule to come on I would be back in time. I was back home by 10 minutes after 8. I noticed there was a message on my machine. At 8:05 the delivery guy called and said he was unable to find my house and he waited but he had to go and the delivery had to be rescheduled. So I called them and asked for the phone number of the company and then I asked them where they were when they called me at 10 minutes until 8. The man on the phone said he had no idea. I said well what city where you in when you called or approximately where were you located when you called and he repeated over and over he had no idea. So I called the company and I was furious! They had called and said they drove around and around my street but couldn't find it and they waited until 8:30 but they had to leave. Well, I was home by 10 after 8 so that was lie number one to their employer but the first person that I spoke to acted like she believed them and everything they said. I finally was able to speak to a manager but again they kept going back to well this is what the helper said and I kept trying to point out why they were lying. I had waited over one month for this mattress set to be delivered. About a week ago, I gave my old mattresses away and have been sleeping on the couch. I tried to explain that they only had one option and that was bring my mattresses today but they could not accomadate me. All of this took place before 9 am with me speaking to the manager. So here is why I am upset: The delivery date given to me by HSN was around March 17. Around March 17 I was contacted to set up the date and was informed they would not be in my area for another 10 days. (I am still okay at this point). I was given todays date for delivery and informed of a two hour window of notice of delivery. I was only given 10 minutes of notice. I explained I had a child to take to school . They wanted very badly to reschedule. I said absolutely not! I explained I would be there as soon as possible! At 5 minutes after 8 a message was left on my answering machine (they knew I was not home) saying they could not locate the address. I called them and got the number of their office and spoke to a person at the company named Michelle who was handling my area. She did not believe what I told her choosing to believe the delivery men. I was given a supervisor and while Nicole the supervisor was a bit more professional than Michelle, she was unable to accomodate my delivery. I explained the situation to her that I don't have anywhere to sleep and it did not matter. I wanted them to completely understand that the delivery men were being very deceitful about being at my home and I still think that they are believing the delivery men. Even if they were telling the truth, they still did not give me a two hour window because that would have been 6 AM. The manager said they told her they contacted me a7:20 which was a lie. They knew I would not be there so they only called my home phone to say they could not locate my house and never bothered to call my cell phone and if they were that close when they first called me (15 min away) they should have said they were but they still thought the delivery time would be between 8 and 9. They didn't have a clue where they were when they called me and couldn't even tell me where they had been so I could estimate how close they were to my house. It just is not possible that in 15 minutes time after giving me a hour and ten minute time frame for delivery.

They were a day late in getting my furniture here, which caused a lot of problems. They charged me extra money for a box that I really didn't have to pay for and had already paid for. They did reimburse me. It was kind of sloppy work. They picked up my furniture on July 11 and they delivered a day late the following week. I had scheduled cable services and internet service so because they were late I had to reschedule my cable and it took another 3 weeks to get it in. It was a real pain. I paid them a lot of money and didn't have a good experience. I wouldn’t use them again.

I really liked them. They were the only one that we called. The guy who came out was very knowledgeable and professional. The movers who showed up were very courteous and professional. They knew what they were doing and they did a good job. We were happy with them.
