Choate Irrigation

They were out immediately.  They come every summer we have met.  They're very, very good.  Their prices are very reasonable.  For 23 years it's been in; there are no major leaks.  It's just maybe a head change every now and then.  Their work is incredible.  I recommended them to my neighbours; they found a cheaper one but they ended up calling Choate because they screwed up. 

Last summer I was Googling landscaping and came across Nita Hunter?s information. I obtained 5-6 landscaping quotes and Choate USA was the only one that provided a landscaping design with no charge and provided a couple of options within our budget. When she came out to view our home, she was friendly and offered multiple suggestions on what we can do with our
landscaping. After reviewing all the quotes, Choate USA provided the best pricing and they were the most responsive. After having our landscaping for 6-7 weeks, we were having issues with a couple of our plants dying. I emailed Nita pictures of our dead plants and she had her crew come out and replaced our plants with no questions asked. Also, there was minor damage to our irrigation
system and they immediately came out to our house to fix it. Another instance where Nita went above and beyond, is when we were having issues with one of our plant surviving. She came out to look at it and provided advice on how to keep it alive. Nita and her crew are amazing to work with and they strive to provide the best customer service. I recommend Choate USA (especially Nita) to all my family and friends.

Half the trees they installed died within the first year. they have not returned a single phone call ? and I've attempted to contact them multiple times. Customer service even gave me an individual's name the last time I called, and, again, no response.

I believe this is a good company with quality service, but a little pricey.  I did feel like I was a little more up on the latest in the product line of the automated control box as I had called them directly, but over all a very good experience.

They installed the system in one day witha crew of 5 people. They did a great job installing the system. They could have done a little better explaining how to use and program the system. Another person came out a few days later and explained the system.
Overall, I was happy with the install and it does give me 100 % coverage as promised.
 I would recommend them for other people needing a system.
November 2013; this summer we had to place check valves in over 20 sprinkler heads because of low head drainage, meaning massive amounts of water was leaking from sprinkler heads on inclines since our yard is hilly. A lot of water was being wasted due to puddling and run off. When I called the company they were either rude or totally unresponsive. Customer service is nearly nonexistent. We had to fix it ourselves. Because of this I lower my score.

Somebody came and it was fine but the guy didn't speak English very well, so we had a communication issue. I think that he though that I couldn't work it, and he turned it back on. When I got back home it still wasn't working so I called them back sent a new person out and he found that the timer was broken, and he fixed it. The guy that I spoke with on the phone lacked professionalism and seemed "fearful to step out of the box."

They came late because of delays at the previous appointment. They could not find the problem at first, so they went back to get the proper tools. Once they have the tools, they were able to pinpoint the location of the cut wire, and then repair it fairly quickly. They charged us one hour even though they spent more than one hour, since some of that was wait time. Overall we were satisfied with the work.

WE WERE NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE COMPANY AT ALL, LOTS OF PROBLEMS WITH SYSTEM & MORE TROUBLE TO GET IT FIXED.
