Benny's Dog Resort

Benny and his staff all seem to really care about the dogs that stay there. I appreciate that the only time the dogs are in their "suite" is at night, otherwise, they get to play all day. The yard is one big playground with things to climb on, plenty of shade, and water to play in. There is also an indoor area, and in the summer they have mandatory breaks to allow the dogs to cool down. They post pictures on their Facebook page, which is nice so you can see what your dog is up to. Our dogs have come home with scrapes on several occasions, which I understand is the nature of dogs playing all day, but is still unsettling. It seems there are plenty of people out with the dogs, but somehow they never seem to know how these minor injuries happen. We have been taking our dogs here for several years, and plan to continue to use their services.

Regardless of whatever my dog thinks, I like this place and I think they do a good job of caring for dogs.  I can only imagine my dog is delighted to spend time at Benny's Dog Resort when I am away; she certainly is eager to jump in the car when we go, and she is even more eager to jump out of the car and check into the Resort when we get there.  
They are a bit eccentric (who ever heard of shutting down an office every day for 2-hours in the middle of the day?) and they reserve the right to refuse my business, or look after my dog.  All this is rather unnerving.   My dog and I are on our best behavior when we are there.
They have immaculate grounds, they are cheaper and seem better organized than their competition, have lots of fun things for dogs to do and have doggie tennis balls everywhere (Gwen loves these).
If I were a dog I could not imagine a friendlier and more comfortable place to visit than Benny's

Benny's was great! I dropped off my dog first thing on Friday morning and picked him up at the end of the day on Labor Day. The staff is kind and professional, just the kind of people you want to watch your dog!  We were stuck in a major back-up on I-35 and almost missed the cut-off for pick up. I called and let them know what was going on, they were very understanding and were prepared to watch our dog one more night (just in case). 
My dog was tired and happy when I picked him up. We will definately be using Benny's on our next vacation!

Benny's post pictures on the facebook page. We were able to log into facebook and view the pics of the dogs playing.
Other kennels have cameras. I wish they would get a camera in the play areas to view from mobile devices.

We have used Benny's multiple times and will continue to do so.  The also frequently put pictures on Facebook so you can see how your dogs are doing.

They are excellent. The outstanding feature that sets them apart is they have a huge outdoor area and have space for your dogs. I would recommend them highly. They do close during certain times of the day and you are unable to reach them.

It’s very personalized service and they’re great. I think our dog loves it and I’ve recommended them to anybody that’s asked.

We had a family vacation planned, and were gone for 2 weeks.  I needed to board my poodle, so I contacted Benny's and arranged for a meeting so that I could see how my dog reacted to the other dogs and staff.  My dog had a great time playing with the other dogs, and the individual room was just right for him to sleep in.  He did very well during the 2 weeks I was gone.  Benny's Resort is well-run, clean, and everyone cares about the welfare of the dogs.  Very reasonably priced as well, compared to many other boarding facilities I contacted.

Great staff who are dog lovers, my 3 dogs love spending the night/s there. They come home relaxed and exhausted!

We'd never boarded our two dogs before, but we had a week between the time we sold our old house and the move in date on the new house, and we just couldn't find a place for the dogs where they wouldn't be crated all day.
We were impressed with Benny's right away. They did a fantastic job introducing both of our dogs to the yard, which we appreciated as neither of them had experience with large groups of dogs and one has anxiety issues. They let us leave them there for a few hours at no charge just to see if it looked like they would handle a longer term stay alright.
From what we could tell, there was always a staff member in the yard with the dogs - they were only kenneled for meals and overnight. They seemed to genuinely care for and enjoy all the dogs. When we picked them up, both dogs were worn out, but very happy.
We though the rates were a bit pricey, but they do seem to be in line with the rest of the industry, and the quality of care was worth it. Benny's will definitely be our first choice for boarding from now on.

Benny's was an all around great experience for both me and for my two small dogs, who spent a little over a week at Benny's while my family and I were out of state.

We have used Benny's dog resort on several occasions, often when we leave the state for several days. We like it because our dogs are able to run around during the day and play in a large yard, shady areas and even pools with lots of other, non-aggressive dogs. I'd hate to leave them in a place where they are kenneled all day long. The staff is absolutely fantastic with dogs and clearly love them. However, as is often the case (speaking as someone who worked for several years at an animal shelter), some of the staff are not so great with their people skills. I have recommended this resort to a couple people who both later told me their initial phone calls to the resort were met with someone so incredibly rude that there is no way they would consider putting their dogs up there. We have not had that particular experience, although the staff is certainly not overwhelmingly friendly. I do know my dogs love it there, and they are always happy to run inside when we arrive. To me, that's what matters most.
I would not recommend the grooming. It was just ok, and I could certainly do a better job myself. Plus, depending on when you pick up, your dogs might get dirty again just having fun playing with other dogs!
Overall, we (and our dogs) like the place and don't have any plans for finding a new place to board.

I love Benny and the staff. I feel so good leaving my dog there, she always goes in and comes out happy. She is still a chewer, and it is much less expense and stress to have her active while I work, than wonder what she has eaten. I take her every other day, but there are endless options. Discounts are available for 10 day passes, teachers and members of the armed forces. Every time I talk to someone else dropping off or picking up dogs for daycare or boarding, I hear the same positive comments I have. They have a great website and facebook page where they post pictures most days.

We love the service at Benny's Dog Resort.  Our dogs go to doggie daycare a few times a month, and Benny's is the only place I want our two labradors to stay when we go out of town.  The dogs love the place so much that they don't even miss us.  I think they get sad to come back home!  Our dog's have stayed there for up to 10 days at a time.  They leap out of the car everytime we arrive!  We highly recommend Benny's Dog Resort.

They are very good and I like them a lot.  He was there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and I paid $50.  It is a very nice facility and they have individual suites for the dogs so they aren’t put up in a crate at night.  The cleanliness is very good.  I feel comfortable leaving my pet with people who know what they are doing.  They are usually out with the dogs during the day so you have to leave a message, but they call back pretty promptly.  I will definitely use them again.

I found Benny's Dog Resort online when it used to be called Pet Stay and Play. Originally, I choose to try them out because they had the lowest prices. The quality of their service is what keeps us coming back. Our dogs LOVE Benny's Dog Resort! When we drive up and they realize where we are, they go crazy in the car and can't wait to get inside. The owner, Benny, and his entire staff are absolutely FANTASTIC! You can tell they are passionate about taking care of your pet. On our most recent visit, we dropped our dogs off for boarding while we were away for the weekend. They stayed together in the "VIP" Suite, which is a very comfortable space for the dogs. The entire facility is very clean. The stay included playtime during the day and feedings twice a day. They also take pictures of playtime and post them online...so one of my favorite things about coming back from our vacation is getting to see pictures of our doggies on their vacation. :) The play areas have a wooden pirate ship, pool, lots of tennis balls, and of course lots of other dogs to play with. I really liked that they make sure your dog is up to date on all his vaccinations and able to interact well with other dogs before accepting them into daycare. (There was an initial "meet & greet" where we dropped them off for one day so they could observe how our dog was with others.) Usually, when we bring them home, they're pooped from getting to play so much. Benny and the staff are very interactive with the dogs--they don't just put them in the play area and leave. It's fun to hear little stories of how our dogs were while we were gone. Benny even noticed how our younger pup follows around his big brother. I would absolutely 100% recommend them to anyone looking for daycare/boarding for their dogs!

We love them. We found them on the internet. They do a wonderful job particularly with active dogs who like to play. They are just fantastic. They take the time to get to know the dog and fit them and make sure that they play nicely in all these sorts of things. With the discount it is $14 a day. Our pet absolutely loves them absolutely over the moon. We would recommend them without hesitation on all account, they are just fantastic. We board our pet there when we go away. I just gave birth to my little girl and we were in hospital one there and the dog were there and they brought him home which was really thoughtful and sweet. They also bathe the dogs there.
