They are just awesome. They pack my good up and they do a great job with packing my things. I have had three drivers, Jorge, Thomas, and John and all three were all over the job. I cant think of one thing they have broken during the three moves. There mught have been a scratch on something, but no mistakes at all come to my mind. If they mark a wall they clean it up, which pleases me! I have moved nine times and have had some poor experiences, but now that I have found this company and will never use another mover! They give you multiple numbers to call if you have any questions and even have a moving coordinator. I highly recommend them!

Perfect. On time, 4 movers, great attitudes, very fast, helpful. The movers were very careful not only w/our belonging but also with both houses (protecting floors, avoiding contact with doorways and walls, etc.). I poured rain during the 2nd half of our move and they did a great job of covering everything as they brought it in and not setting wet boxes on our new wood floors.

Fantastic!!!! The guys were courteous, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Yes sir or no sir, very polite. Not a single thing damaged, and a lot of fun, they hardly let me help. I had a great time with the 4 gents as they worked. I bought all of us lunch, had a great conversation with them lunch and afterwards they went right back to work. The inside of the moving van was immaculate. At first I thought the price was high but afterwards was so impressed with he level of service everything was great. I wholeheartedly recommend Nelson Westerberg for your next move. They even lent me all the boxes I needed to move.

IT WENT HORRIBLE. NEVER CONSIDER USING THIS MOVER!!! They did not use the proper boxes or the wrapping paper for most of my possessions. They did not shrink wrap anything and instead told me the mats were better for the furniture. They put anything that fit into whatever box they wanted to, nothing was organized or labeled correctly. They did not inventory anything although they did a phony list that looked like inventory sheets but the boxes never were numbered so there was no cross reference. They did not have a clue how to wrap fragile things especially my antique glasses, they were packed in a box with the computer. It took me over a month to get my house organized and with four flights of stairs it really was unmanageable. At first some Manager was really listening to my complaints and then after telling me that he would give me a sum of money for all the breakage and missing items, he told me to send my report to the corporate office and they would be in touch. He also said that there would not be any payment for the so called packing that did not happen or the missing item (like cashmere sweaters) DO NOT USE THIS MOVER!!!! I DON'T CARE WHAT ANGIES RATED THEM THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!

"I have talked to the member and assured her Nelson Westerberg would take care of any missing or damaged items. by repairing, replacing, or paying her for what it cost to replace an item that can not be repaired. I told her she must first send in a claim form before her claim can be processed. I told the member once the claim form is received, the process for claim settlement can begin. I also thanked her for her comments about the driver and told her that the driver has been terminated. Nelson Westerberg only wants the best performing drivers for our customers and will not tolerate less than professional service. The member would not mail the claim form in until she is through unpacking which may take a few more weeks. Jeff Meyer, Director of Relocation Services"

They did an exemplary job of packing and moving all my belongings with no damage to them or either home. They carefully wrapped and packed EVERYTHING, and even watered a large live plant while in their possession. They kept in touch while my stuff was in transit, and adapted to my schedule at the destination residence. The driver Earl and his team in both locations did a great job. The company's representative continually checked in to make sure everything was getting done to my satisfaction.

My experience with them was terrible. They put together a large premium roll top desk with 11 drawers which could not fit into it and they set out on a table for months. They also lost an antique table top and I could not get them to return calls. They would not do anything and they kept telling me that's all they could do. I finally called their office in Chicago and I found some lady who helped me and also took care of the problem. She sent some third party out here. They took the desk and put it together properly and made it work. They sent me $20 for marble table top which is antique. Then I called the lady in Chicago and she asked me not to use the cheque. She then sent the same people out here and they took the table itself. They took a picture I had and I had a very nice table top. However, the local Atlas folks didn't do anything. Furthermore they charged much more than they bid. They weren't helpful at all in any way. They were terrible in every aspect. The movers that came out here bungled around. They were taking a break to smoke a cigarette every time I turned around when they were loading up their van. It took them all day to move the stuff. I am sure that's why the price was high and made it more than the bid.

"In January I talked to the Member regarding his unsatisfactory experience and unfounded claims made against NelsonWesterberg. The facts regarding cost are we charged the Member the amount of the estimate and not any more. The actual time on the job was 1/2 hr longer then the estimate I gave, and we did not charge him for that time. The facts regarding Member,s damage claim are that Member declined to take Full Value Protection against damage or loss and NelsonWesterberg made a goodwill policy adjustment and settled his damage claim in full and not at carriers liability of 60 cents per pound ($20). The policy adjustment did add a delay in settling the cliam due to the time to obtain a replacement part. The one item that we did not do right was to get his desk assembled quicker. I apologized to the Member for our office dropping the ball on getting his desk assembled correctly sooner.. Moving involves heavy lifting and the crew's do get to take breaks, I advise my customers if breaks are excessive please let us know and we will make adjustments to the time charged. I offered to adjust Members moving bill by 1 hour and refund him the money, he was not interested in any refund. We at NelsonWesterberg are not satisfied in doing a good job but in doing an Excellent job and are disappointed when we can not please a customer."

They were good and professional. Their packing was excellent. They showed a lot care in the way they handled our things. Hardly anything was damaged, and the few things that were damaged were small and not valuable. We moved house in April this year.

Very good service and staff. Though other smaller companies were less expensive overall, Nelson Westerberg provided used boxes which resulted in a savings on packing over other companies. Very customer oriented staff from office, warehouse to movers. They were hired during Christmas-New Years holiday and responded quickly and extremely well. Price was better than estimate as they completed the work faster than estimated-hardly slowed down for lunch. Great team.
