DON'T BE FOOLED BY LOWER PRICE. Within 3 - 5 years windows started leaking. Warranty was for labor and material for 10 years. John replaced the first couple of windows that went bad and said they were using a new supplier. We let Advan replace additional windows since he had responded. He installed a total of 30 glass panes. The installer was on time and worked clean. However, when additional windows started leaking John came out and looked at them, said I had to wait until they got worse and to call back when they did. The windows turned completely white (worse than the 20 year old windows we replaced ever looked), and John would not return any of my calls, nor would his installer. He did not respond to the BBB or my letter. Very disappointed. If he was having mfg problems, I shouldn't have to pay for that--I'm sure they were under warranty to him anyway, as he mentioned having to return them to the supplier for credit. Price was good and I originally got his name from a real estate agent. I'm guessing he works with real estate companies, puts in cheap product, knowing that the new buyer will have no idea when windows were replaced or who replaced them. So it is fast money, in and out with no responsibility for product. So the good price winds up being a matter of paying for the windows twice--the worst scenario anyone wants. Unfortunately I did not check reviews since he was recommended by real estate agent. But it is obvious from reviews that this is his usual business practice. Unless you want to pay for the installation twice, forget this company. Hard to believe that in this day and age a company like this continues to function.

Pros - cheapest window supplier you can find in DFW! They came in at almost 50% less than the average window replacement cost based on the 3 other bids I got. Quality seems to be the same with the other panes we got from a different, more expensive window installer. Cons - hard to reach by phone. Ended up leaving a message and receiving a call back. Once the appointment was set, Mark showed up as scheduled for measurements and install (give or take a few minutes delay in arrival).

He replaced many fogged windows. He only gave total cost and not per window cost nor which windows he replaced. He also installed screens and solar screens. His crew forgot some screens and we never received, nor would owner return calls. A couple of windows he replaced eventually fogged also, and owner again didn't return phone calls. Finally I pretended to need new windows replaced and when he came, I presented the fogged windows. He denied that he did the windows even though he had previously replaced all the windows. I would NEVER recommend this contractor. Price may be low, but he will not stand by his warranty.R

During our home inspection, several windows were found to have broken seals. The sellers' agent got an estimate from Advan Glass Company, but it was so low, we were very skeptical. Then they had to come out for a second estimate because they missed one of the windows the inspector noticed, and it was the largest and most expensive window. We got a few other estimates that were around twice as much. However, after our agent used them on a different job and was pleased with their work, we decided to try them. They arrived early, got to work right away, and replaced all the necessary glass in a day. They also pointed out other windows that were going bad, but we decided to hold off on replacing those. When we have enough windows in need of glass replacement we will most likely have them out again. The final cost was $100 higher than the estimate, which was annoying since I confirmed with them the estimate included all taxes and fees, then they said it hadn't. However, it was still lower than all other estimates and I was happy with the work at the end of the day. There was a lot of little black stuff they used to seal the windows left on window sills and around the windows after they scraped it off but didn't clean it all up. However, a little extra vacuuming was worth the price.
