PuroClean Disaster First Response

Description of Work: This is the worst emergency response company. They were subcontracted to me via USAA AND Belfour Restoration. First Response started out saying the water damage from the attic Ac unit was minimal as I had done such a great job acting so quickly And cleaning up! They put blowers in but didn't open up anything more than I had already done. usually they cut open walls and floors to dry everything out and 2-3 feet above where the leak occurred. Every few days they cut off a bit more that wasn't drying. About 2 weeks later one of their workers said the wood floors are not drying and said they need to be dried. He taped it off and said he would send blowers. They never arrived. I Called the project Mgr Chris who had zero knowledge of wet floors at my home. I was very unhappy with him, the company communication and his company and made sure he knew this. He came to site and said they looked fine and said he had no idea why they were taped off. I explained what his technician had said and I insisted they pull up the wood floors despite him saying it was not necessary. He then went to check that I had enough wood and the right wood in the attic. When they pulled up the wood flooring - the sub floor was indeed wet. They also went onto tell me the rest of my wood floors (installed by a luxury home Builder) were installed incorrectly and they recommended redoing them immediately because they would just get worse and worse. i called my builder who was on site in 15 minutes and the First Response team quickly back pedaled. I consequently fired First Response and my builder is putting their work back together after being sure the correct remediation work has been done for water damage. In addition I did not have all the right widths of planks as was stated by Chris and a new carton has to be ordered. Please don't use this company - if I had continued with them, without prior knowledge of water damage and working with remediation companies, I feel sure we would have ended up with the wood floors not pulled up and mold in the sub floor, to which I am allergic. I am lucky to have an exceptional quality home Builder whose customer service and first class response saved me from a long term problem and what could have been a lot more money if I was naive enough to have them redo the entire floor!

Description of Work: Found about an inch of water in my bathroom because of a toilet overflow. Quickly found PuroClean in the YP. They arrived within an hour on a Saturday around 6:00 pm. They assessed the situation, set up their equipment, and were gone within an hour! Thank goodness they did show up on Angie's List with good reviews. I would definitely hire PuroClean again. Good people.

Description of Work: Water extraction from rug - opened up baseboards - probed walls for water damage - set up dryer & dehumidifier and put everything back together with a smile.

Description of Work: We had a pipe burst in the wall behind water heater. Water came through wall and went almost everywhere. Puroclean extracted water, removed baseboards, set up blowers, monitored moisture levels and then cleaned up afterwards.
