I have worked and been involved in all aspects of the residential remodeling industry, including design, measuring, product sourcing and site visits. I want to highly recommend Vivienne Notelovitz of Kitchens Designed by Vivienne,LLC. She has done two projects for us. I first used Vivienne for a kitchen remodel on our 1964 home. She came, found out our wants, needs and answered questions. I was blown away when she returned with 4 possible solutions in a binder that we could take to any contractor to use. We decided to use a contractor she often worked with, G+C Construction, and decided on the one solution we liked best. She accompanied us to product shops for granite, tile, sink and hardware. She checked back with us as the remodel progressed and caught a misstep when the granite was being installed. She even designed the backsplash for our stove. She is like a miracle worker. I feel I can say that as I have a sister who has her own commercial design company, who learned a few tricks from Vivienne because she specializes in kitchens. We LOVE our new kitchen. It has everything we need and want and has increased the value of our home. Because she had done such a marvelous job on the kitchen, we asked if she did bathrooms too and thankfully, she did. Again, she did the info gathering and measuring for a master and a guest bath. Again, we chose the design we wanted. This included greatly increasing the size of a shower and closet. She accompanied us to source stores for tubs, sinks, tiles, and hardware. She was with us every step of the way. She greatly assisted with the “aging in place” concept and helped make it a place we hope to stay in for many years. Vivienne was a joy to work with. She was easy-going, personable and never pushy. She educated us along the way on things that work and things that don’t work as well. Design is her passion, and you could see it in everything she did. Budget wise, hiring Vivienne, a certified designer, saved us from making costly mistakes and she provided so much assistance throughout both projects. She was much more reasonably priced than I could imagine. I cannot recommend her highly enough. For any other remodel projects, she is where I will go first.

Vivienne was truly wonderful to work with. She is professional in every way and was instrumental in bringing our dream kitchen to life. I had been planning our new kitchen for years, but Vivienne’s guidance took it to the next level! Vivienne develops several alternatives designs, and once a design is chosen, she provides detailed plans. Our project included a full remodel of our kitchen, butler pantry, and bar that involved moving walls, doors, plumbing and more. She exceeded my admittedly demanding expectations. We went with Vivienne’s recommendations for a contractor and for the cabinet make as well. Our contractor was great to work with, and our cabinets are gorgeous! We absolutely love our new kitchen! Vivienne earned 5 stars - we definitely recommend her!

Kitchens Designed By Vivienne. My wife and I were looking for someone to help us design our dream kitchen. We had some ideas, but needed someone with experience and vision to help make it a reality. Based on reviews I read on the internet, I contacted Vivienne and set up an appointment for consultation. Originally, we were just going to get ideas from her, but after the consultation, we knew we wanted her for the complete design package. Vivienne returned two weeks later with 4 complete designs for us to review. One of the designs, in her words, was “thinking outside of the box”. We definitely knew that she had listened to our ideas when we looked at her designs. We picked the design that suited us best, which was the one outside the box. She made the entire process much less stressful for us and our contractor with the detailed design portfolio. It was a pleasure working with Vivienne and we highly recommend her. She turned our dream into reality and we thank her every day.

I cannot say enough great things about Vivienne! She is so knowledgeable about design and easy to work with. She gave ideas for our kitchen remodel on the very first visit. She has an eye for detail and worked with us from design to paint color. Loved that she gave a binder with all the design changes to our kitchen showing measurements, cabinet style with handles, inserts for cabinets, etc. Even the contractor was impressed with the detail on our design. She did give a few options for our island style and explained the pros and cons to all. She can do a turnkey project or give names of subs she recommends. We would HIGHLY recommend Vivienne. We will definitely call her if we decide to change our master bath.

We selected Vivienne based on her internet reviews and the pictures of some of her previous jobs. She really listened to our desires and produced 3 different concepts to help us decide on an approach. She was very helpful when it came time to select the various colors, backsplash, floors, and cabinet choices. Vivienne’s style is to be very open and straight forward. She will give her honest opinion, but in the end, she will support whatever you want to do We were also very pleased with the contractor that she recommended as well as his crew. The job was complex in that some places required a customized fit. After each day’s work, they always cleaned up the area. They did everything they could to make the finishes touches exactly what we wanted. Even though our kitchen is somewhat small, and an odd shape, it is now very functional. She was able to maximize the storage space. I still haven’t fill up all the shelves, but I am sure I will. If some issue should arise after the job is complete, she is still there for you. If you want your dream kitchen, we highly recommend Vivienne.

It would be impossible to fully articulate how fantastic this experience was. Vivienne was amazing from the first time we met her when she explained her process, to designing multiple designs and spending the time to talk to us and tweak the designs until we had decided on one. Once the design work was done, she was involved in EVERY stop of the process. When cabinets arrived, she was here to meet the delivery, check to make sure everything was delivered and in good shape. During cabinet and countertop installation she came by almost daily to make sure the install was going as planned without issue. The other amazing thing about Vivienne is that when it comes time to choose flooring, cabinets, countertops, appliances, backsplash and fixtures - she does not just have suggestions of where to go, she has specific individual people she has a relationship with that help guide your decisions. At each visit Vivienne was there, helping to make decisions and on occasion coming up with the completely outside of the box idea to leave no stone unturned. When it was all done, we ended up with the gourmet kitchen we have always dreamed of with much less stress and less difficult than we ever dreamed. I can't thank Vivienne enough for the experience, help, friendship and in the end a fabulous kitchen!

My wife and I were looking to remodel our kitchen but had lots of different ideas on how to do it, with no clear vision. My wife had seen Vivienne on Angie’s List years earlier and kept her contact information, so we made an appointment with her to discuss our plans. Vivienne was extremely responsive, and during our first meeting she explained all the services she would provide and listened to our ideas. She provided us with multiple floorplan options for the remodel, with many aspects we’d never considered. Her guidance throughout the entire project was outstanding, always providing us with the pro’s and cons of specific elements we thought we wanted while leaving the ultimate decision with us as to how to proceed. I cannot say enough about her responsiveness during the project, which occurred during the 2019 holidays but she still always responded promptly. We were even out of town and she kept the project going and communicated via texts and with photos! She guided us through all the various vendors for finishes, helping us to decide which was best for our space and our vision. We also appreciated her flat fee structure for her services. In the end, our kitchen is more than what my wife or I could have imagined, and we can say without reservation it would not have been possible without Vivienne. We will most certainly use her services for our future bathroom project!

I am beyond pleased with both the design and implementation provided by Vivienne Notelovitz. She listened to what I wanted then created a beautiful design & provided assistance throughout the project. Vivienne is professional, personable, extremely knowledgeable & organized. Vivienne worked with me on a previous bathroom remodel, on that project I only used her for the design but, her design was a huge help for my contractor. On this project I remodeled 3 bathrooms, a kitchen & utility room. Plus adding cabinets in the living room. Vivienne was with me from start to finish. I could not be more pleased.

We hired Vivienne to help us with a complete kitchen & laundry room remodel, for which we were on a tight budget. Vivienne was very thoughtful to our concerns and came up with fantastic designs that incorporated all of our needs and wants while also maximizing the space. She was open to using products new to her that I had seen on Facebook (hello Hideaway Solutions incorporated step stools) as well as our desire to use IKEA cabinet frames with custom doors & drawerfronts. The vendors that she uses are hand-picked for their expertise and their customer service. We acted as our own General Contractor for the remodel, and her design binder was INVALUABLE. It saved us so much time and trouble. She was always open to questions throughout the remodel and made sure she was here for the countertop templating and installation. I can't say enough good things about Vivienne. She is the best!

We highly recommend Kitchens Designed by Vivienne! We hired Vivienne to design our kitchen remodel. Vivienne worked with us to completely re-figure the space - redesigned the island, closed up a wall, & moved the appliances around in order to be more efficient. She had great ideas and insights, but made sure to listen to our ideas and wants as well. The vendors she introduced us too were also very knowledgeable and helpful. The design package that Vivienne completed for us was thorough and detailed. She continued to work with us through the construction process to make sure the kitchen was executed as designed. Overall, we found her to professional, creative, and very pleasant to work with. The estimate she gave us at our first meeting was spot on, and we had no major hiccups during the entire process. We plan to redo our master bathroom in a year or two, and Vivienne will definitely be the first person we call!

From beginning to end this project could not have gone better. We wanted to completely gut our kitchen and laundry room as well as replace all flooring throughout the house. Vivienne presented us with three very different designs for our kitchen remodel. She prefaced the third design with "this is the one to think out of the box". Needless to say...that is the one we went with. It presented the most pleasing design while achieving a major goal of maximizing storage in the kitchen. Vivienne was involved at every point throughout this project. She dealt with the various vendors and our contractor always having our best interest at heart. She listened to us...always doing her best to achieve our goals and desires. A great experience. We highly recommend Vivienne regardless of the project you might have before you.

Start with Vivienne. Our project finished on time and under budget despite numerous issues discovered once the walls were opened. In my opinion, the only way to have your remodel project go successfully is to have a complete set of construction drawings prepared by a great designer. If you are being told you don't need drawings then find another designer. In fact, I believe the reason we came in under budget is because there were no "job changes" needed.

We love our mid-century modern house, but after 35 years the small pink-tiled hall bath and the tiny master bath needed major renovations. Safety made this necessary, not just aesthetics. Using the cast iron tub in the hall bath for a shower was a tripping hazard for the 70+ year-old owner. And the master bath had a small shower with a four-inch lip, another tripping hazard. New design would be a challenge, as each bathroom was limited to its existing footprint. Vivienne began the design process by talking with us about our design preferences to get a sense of the style we were looking for. Each bathroom would have a different character. Vivienne then developed designs that maximized the space, so each bathroom now looks larger than it actually is. First, pocket doors were installed so that door swing wouldn’t take away any space. Also, the toilets are wall-hung, with the tanks in the walls. Likewise, the vanities are wall-mounted, so the floors cover the entire bathroom, except for the shower. And the showers are rimless, so the floors just lead into them. Vivienne met us at floor covering and fixtures showrooms for product selection. Since Vivienne already had a sense of our style, she would show us product that she thought we would like. This made a potentially overwhelming selection process easy. The construction process itself proceeded in an efficient manner. There was rarely a day when someone wasn’t working. Any issues were quickly addressed.

Great! Viviene's designs were just what we needed and wanted. She worked with us in listening to our needs and wants, reviewing options with us. She was extremely helpful in the design process, picking out materials and fixtures and going to stores and suppliers with us, and helping during construction. Her recommended construction company did an excellent job and she coordinated everything.

Working with Vivienne is a joy. in 2016 she designed our kitchen and when problems in our master bath necessitated a major remodel, we knew there was no other person to call. Again the design process was a breeze. We also really like the vendors she uses. Picking tile, countertops, carpet and plumbing fixtures from her preferred vendors is always an enjoyable experience. We have one more bathroom to go on our remodel process. And of course Vivienne will be there to help.

First: When taking on a kitchen remodel - hire a qualified kitchen designer. Second: If you live in the Dallas area, hire Vivienne. Vivienne is a true professional. She took the time to understand what we wanted to achieve with a remodel and how our current space is not working. What was surprising was the amount of time she spent educating us on the vast array of choices from cabinets to appliances to counter treatments, so that we could make informed decisions. It's been 2 years since our remodel was completed, and we literally live in our kitchen. Write the check for design services -it's the best money you'll spend on your project.

Vivienne of Kitchens Designed by Vivienne is a fabulous designer who we worked with several years ago on a kitchen remodel. We loved her knowledge, creativity and innovativeness at that time so decided we wanted to use her again for our bathroom remodel. (Although her company says kitchen design, she had said she was doing as many bathroom designs as kitchens.) She is very easy to work with and was incredibly helpful with 'out of the box' ideas. particularly as we sought to have plans where we could 'age in place'. She presents you with a number of designs based on your needs and wishes. You choose the design you want . She goes to vendors with you and is there to help throughout the whole project. Vivienne and Gary did our kitchen remodel 4 years. We were so happy with it that we hired them again for our 2 bathroom remodels that needed to be done in the downstairs and upstairs Jack and Jill bathroom. Vivienne always has great ideas on how to improve the existing space to make it a more functional area. I love it that she is great at helping us choose the tile, counter top and fixtures so that the bathrooms would look fabulous. When we encountered problems, they always were able to resolve them in a timely manner. We would not hesitate to use them again on future projects.

Vivienne is fantastic. We remodeled our kitchen and all of the living/dining areas of our home. Her design process was very clear and straight forward. She came and listened to our desires and then brought back 3 options for the kitchen/utility room layout. Her ideas had never occurred to us. Once we settled on a design, the vendors she used for flooring/appliances/fixtures were also very helpful. A year and half later, she is redesigning our master bath and closet. Highly recommended. Attached are three pictures. One of before and two after the remodel.
