What I really liked about them is that they kept you informed. If they ran into any problems or foresaw any difficulties, they discussed it with you so you could work it out together. We had Keith build a patio cover at our previous house. It was true quality. When we built our current home, he was the one we called. This one was a large project. Keith kept us informed of every aspect of the build. To say we were totally satisfied would be an understatement. Many neighbors would stop to ask who the builder was because they were so impressed by the construction. His professionalism, integrity and craftsmanship is a hard combination to find these days, but Keith has them.

Quality construction.

I gave a wonderfully built great looking deck that exceeded my expectations. The crew of Cody et al was super efficient and precise with the build. I selected a covered , cedar , with 6" by 6" support elements. All cuts, screws , and nails were precision placed. The fit and finish is wonderful. Keith, franchise owner, did a good point of sale job by going over the my design and costing. My 2 issues are that we had agreed that I would receive a copy of the warranty prior to build and that the material would be closely calculated to reduce excess cost. After 2 requests I finally received a warranty copy last day of job. The left over wood is 2 feet high , 3 feet across and 8 feet long. And , this does not include the actual scrap that went onto my burn pile. I understand that there is usually a 5% overage in material but this seemed excessive to me. Having said that I would use them again as long as I got Cody's crew.

Keith and his crew did an amazing job with our project! Fast, professional! Cannot say everyone positive things! Hope we have another opportunity to work with them again!

Overall did a god job in completing a deck using Trex Synthetic product. The contract was signed and agreed upon by both parties at a fixed price. During construction I was informed that the sales person had made an error in measurement and the out of pocket cost for Decksteriors would be higher than quoted. The owner of Decksteriors Mr. Keith Smith and I worked together to arrive at a re-neogotiated cost which was 16 percent more than the original quote. I took my own measurements and determined that the original quoted dimension was indeed in error, so the additional compensation was justified. James the carpenter who singlehandedly did most of the work did a pretty fair job. There were some cosmetic flaws but overall I was a satisfied customer. I recommed them as a reliable contractor in this forum.

Decksteriors were one of three contractors that I reviewed. Of the three, hewas very succinct in his presentation which lasted approximately 50 min. However, one of the other contractors (whom I will not name) took almost 2 hours to present his company.

I had a good experience with this company, they did a project for me a few years ago and I'm still happy with the results. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were very professional and clean they were great to work with. I was very pleased with the results. I have recommended them to my next door neighbor.

They did a great job of building the deck, but I would have liked better communication. We asked for black plastic under the deck to inhibit growth and that was left out of the process. Other than that, I was very happy with the builder and the finished product.

The deck is great quality but there were some issues with the plan versus the result. The bench was originally too long and had to be shortened. Also, they said I didn't need any gravel under the deck and now I have weeds that come up between boards.

They were quick and built to specifications. When I needed to make a change to the plans due to the HOA, they worked with me. One supplier tried to send non-deck grade wood and they would not accept it. This delayed the building by 1/2 a day but it eas well worth it. The deck looks great. The landing and stairs are very stable and nice looking. They even thought about the irrigation system when setting posts and building. Decksteriors did a great job.

We purchased a "used" circular stairway. The footings were done on a Monday and we were told they'd be here Wed. or Thur. to install. Didn't show up either day, but did call (late) to tell me. They promised it would be Friday. NOT! They showed up to let us know they hadn't forgotten about us and told us they'd be here the next morning. Wrong again! Heard nothing from them for 3 days. Finally showed up today. Only took 2 1/2 hours but we were on the bottom of their "to-do" list. Maybe it's the industry, but their timeliness was terrible. Of course, they didn't care, they already had a check for half the total amount. Beware!

We are very happy with out deck. I highly recommend decksteriors to people looking for a competent, professional builider. Originally, we had planned on having our deck done the beginning of the week, at last it was started on Friday and completed on Saturday...we were flexible with the dates. However, if you want it completed on a specific date, I would discuss this to make sure its done on that date.

Decksteriors built a deck that has a cover with an attached arbor. I am very pleased with the finished product. I enjoy sitting on the deck at nights enjoying the cool breeze at night. Decksteriors were very professional and courteous.

Decksteriors was GREAT!! We were going back and forth between Decksteriors and another company, but in the end decided we'd get more for our money with Decksteriors. The salesman/design pro that came to our house was very professional and has great ideas. Just looking out our back door and seeing empty space, it was hard for us to envision this great deck Jeremy sketched, but we're glad we trusted his expertise. The carpenter also did an incredible job, and was finished in just 2 days. Needless to say, we are extremely satisfied with the deck and we recommend Decksteriors to any and everyone!! :o)

They did a great job in adding a cover over our deck and an arbor over our hottub. The work was done quickly and the clean up was great. They were in and out after 2 days.
