The Floor Barn

Let me first share that the upfront process with the Heltzel family was professional and pleasant. The floor installation and final results were not. The installers left our home before the job was completed. They left us with tape and glue on the floors, floor moulding that was haphazardly removed and put back on with the wrong supplies (which required us to repair and paint ourselves) and just an overall unacceptable experience. Upon immediately letting the Heltzels know (including over 20 photos), I was told they would send the installers back to clean up. As you can imagine, I no longer wanted those individuals back in my home. Never was I contacted by the Heltzels for a quality inspection during or after my experience. I was very surprised to receive a final invoice for the full amount (without consideration for the unsatisfatory job performed). We spent hours in clean up, repair and painting before being able to move our furniture back into the rooms. Upon suggesting a credit be given for the amount of labor we had to perform, the Heltzels granted a nominal amount. My advice to anyone that utilizes Floor Barn is to ask questions upfront so that you are aware of what the final product will look like. Hopefully, my experience was just an unusual mishap with poor installers. When I was looking for a flooring company, I obtained two bids. I selected Floor Barn strictly based on the good reviews I had read. They have clearly provided good work to many customers, just not us.

I felt like they gave me a fair estimate for the job. In addition, the floor needed less prep before installation so the final cost was $300 less. That really impressed me, I don't know if everyone would have been that honest!! The floors look absolutely beautiful!  So great to work with really nice people and get such wonderful results.

Everything was excellent. From working with Brian on the bid to the work being completed. Brian is very humble and his number 1 goal is to ensure his customers are completely satisifed and happy. He worked with us to ensure we got the best pricing available. The crews who did the work were timely, respectful and very talented. Their work ethic and quality was top notch. We could not be happier. Our floors are beautiful and we are so thankful for this wonderful company. We 100% recommend The Floor Barn.

We were very pleased with the service we received from Floor Barn We had used them in the past to do several jobs for us including painting all the trim in our house and hanging a porch swing. They are always punctual, dependable and pleasant to work with. They did a fantastic job on our wood floors and finished more quickly than we thought they would. They cleaned up and removed all the trash and left my house in great condition. It is a pleasure to do business with them.

The workers arrived on time and went about their work. I had moved into a motel for a few days while the work was being done. They did an excellent job and I was completely satisfied with the quality of their workmanship. There was only only one detractor from the overall experience; They did not vacuum the new carpet and left me all the carpet fibers and clipping throughout the house to clean up. I had carpet installed on two other occasions , in Arizona and Florida. This debris was removed by the installers. Otherwise, it was a perfect job.

Went very well..Quite a bit of dust but they did OK. Paid to have my cars washed because they did most of the cutting in the garage.

It was a 2 day deal....they worked diligently and with professionalism.....they took extra time and went into Tuesday evening to get it done so i would not have to take another day off from work.....the laminate floor is so nice and they did a excellent job...i highly recommend them.

We called the Floor Barn and quickly set up a time to see the master bedroom. Within a couple of days, a rep came out to measure and answer any/all questions. It was time for our 11year old carpet to go! The room is 12' x 14' . Once we agreed on the cost of job, the materials were ordered and an installation date was set. Within a week, three professional installers came out and completed the job in one day. The floor looks amazing and provided a beautiful accent to our newly painted walls. The Floor Barn did a fantastic job that we would recommend them to anyone. Thank you.

We recently bought a 2 story home which needed new flooring in all carpeted areas. We contacted the Floor Barn to come out and give us an estimate on the work needed. Brian arrived on time and was very friendly and professional in manner. He took time to discuss our needs and then went room to room taking measurements. He said we would need to go to the Floor Barn and pick out the flooring we would like included in the estimate and he would have it ready once he had that information. So, I went by and talked to Sue, who was extremely helpful in making recommendations and allowing me to take samples to look over with my husband. As soon as we had an idea of what we liked, we let them know and received our estimate. Once we were ready to order materials, everything went smoothly through completion. We are very happy with our new wood floors in our family room, study and formal dining room. Our stairs were previously carpeted but are now very beautiful done with wood! The carpet we selected for our master bedroom, upstairs living area and bedrooms looks very nice as well. We are very pleased with our experience with the Floor Barn and will definately recommend them to friends and family.

Our experience with Brian and Sue with the Floor Barn was exceptional. Pricing was very competitive, materials were delivered as scheduled and the work was performed professionally and timely. We have shared our experience working with the Floor Barn with our friends and plan to use them in the future for other projects.
