I originally submitted a review of JKE, Inc. on this website in 2022. Read it please! Eddy was amazing through every step of taking a concept plan of the home we wanted through completion in 2019. The message I wanted to send was the quality products used and the oversight of his contractors. He built us a solid custom built home with no flaws anywhere! Later in 6 years, our home on top of a hill survived several hail storms from golf ball size propelled with 70+mph winds and other storms with softball size hail. The roof was damaged, but shingles remained and the roof never leaked. The story is our home has been battered. Eddy responded each time with the oversight of his contractors to make repairs and the home is new again. He is the “ONE STOP SHOP” to keep your home in prime condition. JKE, Inc. is much more than a homebuilder and Eddy is just a phone call away, and there is always follow-up to ensure expectations were satisfied. Thanks again Eddy!

100% quality work, beyond what you'd expect. Eddy works hard to keep the project moving along, painstakingly overseeing every detail by all subs. Will make sure it's done right, to code (even if not required), fully inspected every step of the way. He is sure to keep customers informed on budget, savings, possible delays & updated with photos. You'll be happy no matter what. Over 30 years of experience, we'd go to JKE again and again if we didn't already get the perfect home.

After talking with other home builders in the Joshua area, we felt that Eddy Reamy listened & understood our needs. Before we signed a contract, he took us to see a home similar to what we were looking for. We needed an ADA complaint home with an open concept for the kitchen & living room. Downsizing from the 2000 square feet home that we had lived in for 50 yrs. to 1100sf was very concerning. Eddy gave us more usable space than we expected. He gave us suggestions to improve the overall outcome. He was very easy to talk with & answered all questions. He returned calls almost immediately. Our new home is more than we ever expected. We would recommend Eddy to anyone truly wanting an honest & knowledgeable builder.

We hired JKE because the owner actually responded when I left a message. After sitting down with him and going over the concept we had in mind he earned our trust by listening and bringing us a plan we made very few changes to. Our situation was unique in getting the land platted and approved took two years. Eddy stayed in touch and when all was ready he got things moving. The quality in workmanship, his ability to adapt to changes we made in material, and his suggested upgrades are why I would recommend him to anyone wanting custom work. He is very plain spoken regarding what to expect and he dealt with his subs fairly and kept them on point. He's never hard to get in touch with and addressed every concern we had quickly and often before we could bring it to his attention. We have moved in now and we are impressed with the quiet comfort of our new home.

Yes, I already have a review on here not too long ago...long story short, our brand new home he built was struck by lightning 3 months after we moved in. It caused quite significant damage, but because of miracles, prayers, and a quality build...it didn't burn down. After insurance, Eddy was the first man I called. No way I would let anyone else touch my house for repairs. Let me say, Eddy really is a gem. We consider him a friend at this point. He went before insurance did anything to get our well and septic fixed so we could survive. Once insurance came through with payment, he was here ALL DAY for 2 weeks straight working, and managing his subcontractors to ensure everything was done! I also have to add a new title to him as pet whisperer lol, he kept watch over my inside pets as contractors were working and even wrangled one up that snuck outside. Eddy is one of a kind, he has blessed our lives twice now!

Eddy is honest, listens, and will always provide professional guidance throughout every step of building your home. Better yet, Eddy took our concept of a house plan, he offered many suggestions or alternatives gained from his many years of experience, and we collectively designed our home that exceeded our expectations. The design, construction, and move-in were all done in 2019. He built a BEAUTIFUL SOLID CUSTOM HOME WITH QUALITY MATERIALS! Three years later our home is just like the first year we lived in it. There have been NO DEFECTS FOUND ANYWHERE and nothing in the design and build we would have done differently! A great builder that keeps you informed, with attention to detail, and is respected by his contractors that thoroughly understand his expectations. And, he treats you with respect. HIRE JKE - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Looking for honesty? Look no further. We are in the construction industry and chose Eddy as our builder because we knew he built a good, solid home, used quality materials, didnâ t cut corners, and he was honest with people. These qualities are VERY hard to come by these days in this industry. It doesnâ t matter if you are building a 1500 sq Ft house or a 7000 sq ft house, Eddy will treat you the same with dignity and respect, and he will work his hardest for you to give you a quality build. Eddy has great relationships with his contractors and is impressively able to stay on top of every detail. Our home is exactly what I envisioned, and Eddy was a constant source of help and advice when it came to what to put in it. If I were to do it all over again, I would use Eddy again with no hesitation. Iâ m not sure that I can ever thank him enough for what a good job he did for us. Choosing a builder is a huge decision, building a house is an arduous process and it will take its toll on anyone. You can know that if you use JKE, you will be comforted by the knowledge that you have someone in your corner whoâ s on your side and who is an honest, hardworking guy whoâ s only goal is to build you a quality home.

Eddy is fantastic to work with, great communication kept us up to date on every phase of the build , kept the construction area cleaned up throughout the build.

Eddy was a pleasure to work with. He managed to build our house in less than a year in the middle of these weird times with supply issues, delays with waiting on companies, and employee shortages. He never lost his patience with anyone, and always answered my calls with a million questions. He helps you plan a house built around your budget, and keeps you in the loop with everything going on and makes you feel included. In the end, we ended up with a beautiful home and couldn't be happier! I would definitely recommend Eddy and use him again!

I recently had a house built by Eddy from JKE Inc. and have to say that the house exceeds our expectations. If your looking for a custom home builder, I would definitely talk to him. Not only did he walk us through the build, but actually gave us the opportunity to make the decisions of what we wanted in our new home. With his advice, guidance and recommendations he made it easy for us to make decisions and choose the look we wanted. Eddy is a builder who takes great pride in his work. He is not a salesman who pushes you into buying, instead he builds to what you choose and your budget. We are very pleased having chosen him to build our new home. Great experience! Was great communication, and very professional. I was able to work alongside the builder, who was very open to any and all ideas. If it was something I wanted, he always suceeded in getting it done! Sky was the limit. Kept a very clean jobsite, and was very kind to his subs. That being said, i couldnt be happier, and Im enjoying the home I had invisioned and dreamed of😍

Their follow up and installation performance is exceptional.

He is on time, communicates well, cleans up, meticulous and does an overall great job.
