Biggest issue we have is with the "T-Molding", which was installed between the new and existing flooring. Were told by salesman, Jim Renfro, that we would not even notice it was there.
That was pure BS. Not only is it not an exact match the new flooring, it sticks up enough that grandkids can trip over it. Had we known that, we would have paid the extra money to butt the new flooring up against the existing. But, again, Mr. Renfro said that if the floorings weren't an exact match, it wouldn't look good. What doesn't look good is the T-molding!
Should also point out that although the installers did a good job overall, we had to tell them to put something down to protect the existing floor they had to walk across to go outside to their tools.
Probably being generous to give Elite Floors a "D".
Left with a concrete floor and drywall shower, I called Elite Floors (because they were recommended to me by a co-worker)+. Randy James made time to come out THAT day to get me an estimate. He was polite, funny, and down to earth. He took some measurements and wrote out a quote for me. After signing the contract and paying half down, his sub-contractors, John and Nathan, showed up to start the project right away. They were thorough and efficient. They definitely know their stuff! They finished the entire project in three days. They even went out of their way to replace the baseboards (which wasn't in the contract)! When they were done, they cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend the company! If you go with elite, be sure to ask for john and nathan!
We will definitely go to them first from now on for our home remodel projects!
