+ -1 moreA number of roofs in my neighborhood were being replaced, so I requested an evaluation of my house. The two fellas on their team were polite, informative, and very helpful. They told me they did not find sufficient damage to file a claim and assured me that my roof was in good repair. I appreciated very much that they did not push to have me go through a claim process that would have only cost me more time for no purpose. They are honest and helpful and my neighbors who did have their roofs replaced are 100% satisfied with the work they have done.
Description of Work: I had my roof checked by D & G for hail damage.

+ 0 moreThe whole process of choosing a roofer is daunting. They stopped by in droves it seems, and getting the same analysis from two or more took a while. I hope we don't have to do this again any time soon. We were here the whole time the roofing was being done and I found myself wanting to communicate occasionally but to no avail since I don't speak Spanish. My personal requirement would be English speaking workers. There are other roofers I would try before I would use this one again.
Description of Work: Roof, gutters, and four screens were replaced. The screen replacement was done by another contractor recommended by the D&G representative. The roof hasn't leaked so far. The workmen didn't do a very good job of protecting our vinyl lined pool from falling nails and staples. Several were discovered and retrieved in the next few days following completion. Something was dropped on one of our deck chairs causing the seat to rip and requiring the chair be discarded. A section of the new gutter had to be replaced because something was dropped on it. The screen replacement took forever to be completed and one doesn't fit properly. We paid a little extra ($170.00) to have solar screens installed.
