Basically, David disappeared with our money and has provided no products in spite of repeated phone calls and promises. We learned that he took our personal check to our bank and had them convert it into a certified check in the name of his company, then most likely cashed it later for himself. The builder who recommended him can provide no information on him other than saying he thought he was in Houston and Galveston trying to get work there. He has proved impossible to track down. The address in Burleson is bogus.
Description of Work: David was recommended by a local builder to provide screens for a large porch. He recommended a crank down system for outdoor solar screens, plus offered very good prices for interior solar shades for our western-facing windows. He brought samples and photos of past work, with a very professional presence. We contracted for four interior shades and one section of screening for our porch, with the intent of completing the entire porch if the product proved to be satisfactory. He required a partial deposit which we provided.
