Arbors & Decks of Johnson County

I contacted Ethan to quote the cost of building a Trex composit deck and also terrace the back yard which included 2 retaining walls.  This was my second attempt to find someone to complete the job since my previous contractor disappeared after deposit had been paid and materials delivered. (Yellow Jacket Construction in Burleson...fyi)
Ethan was able to offer suggestions on modifications to the original contractors plan for my deck and I have to say I am so happy that he did.  I wish there was a way to provide him with more than an A rating.  He was very prompt in getting back with me on his quote, and he was very good about communicating his schedule with me. 
The terracing work that I wanted done was more involved than what he does so he referred me to a stone mason, Farmer Jon.  His work was also above and beyond my expectations and the price was more than fair.  They both have worked together in the past and they communicated well.  I didn't have to worry about one contractor not liking the way another did something. End result...I have a beautiful yard just waiting for cooler weather so I can plant in the terraces and an awesome deck that was better than I imagined.  I cannot say enough good things about both. 
FYI the pricing noted above was for my whole project, labor and materials.  My Trex materials were on clearance at Lowes and that had an impact on the cost of the deck.  However, the stone mason was able to give me about 200 sq ft of sandstone retaining walls for only $600 more than the cost of using cinder blocks, which is what my original contractor was going to use.

Ethan measured for a deck for the size requested. He gave us a rendering of what the deck would look like. He started and finished on time, and always showed up when he said he would. He was very unobtrusive, did the work with no interruption to the household. The Stairs, ramp, and deck were exactly to our requests. The deck overall was better than we imagined. We are very happy we found such a conscientious professional to build our deck. We will trust Ethan to build an arbor for us when our pool is finished.

They showed up on time. It went very well. They cleaned up after themselves when the work was done.
