Townsley Masonry

My home has a fieldstone exterior and over the years separations and cracks have appeared in various mortar joints. On the recommendation of a friend I called John Townsley to ask if he could do the work. He responded yes he could and arrived at my home within a couple hours to determine just what had to be done. He examined the separations and cracks I was aware of and pointed out many more I had not seen. I believe his bid on the work was more than fair and I accepted his proposal. A few days later his crew arrived at my home and went straight to work. Where cracks and separations were found, the crew ground away the old mortar and replaced it with new mortar they carefully mixed to color match adjacent older mortar. They repaired all the areas Mr. Townsley had found and further repaired additional areas which had not been previously known, all within the original estimate. They repaired areas on all sides of the structure and now a couple months later, I would be hard pressed to locate where the work was done. The polite and efficient crew cleaned up very well and left me extremely happy.
