The lawnmower works well.

They did a repair and I picked the tug up. But when we tried to use it, it wasn't running right, so I took it back in. They installed a new carburetor at no charge and did it in less than one day. It's great to do business with people who stand behind their work! I'll give them an A+!

The work was great. I thought they are a little bit overpriced. We just dropped the lawn mower off.

NT.IN MY (AND SEVERAL OTHERS) OPINION THE OWNER IS A REAL JERK. VERY UNPLEASANT. DEMANDING. ARROGANT. HIS WORKER IS QUITE NICE AND DOES EXCELLENT WORK.
I DON'T REMEMBER DATE OF SERVICE OR COST OF REPAIR.

Did job in less than 1 week. Had to install new carburetor. Cost approximately 70$.

Ashley's Small Engine Repair agreed to look at the mower. I asked them to check if the blade bending episode had bent the shaft, and generally just wanted an engine tune-up and a new blade. They asked for $30 up front and agreed to do the work within 2 weeks, as they had a lot of work at this time.
Within 2 weeks they called and said the shaft was bent. They could replace the shaft and blade and do an engine tune-up for $170. I said I thought we'd just go ahead and get a new mower. He agreed that was a good plan. I asked how much I owed him for his time looking at the mower. He said that's why they asked for the $30 up front. I asked when I could pick up the mower and he offered to get rid of it for me. He could not have been more pleasant, courteous and professional.

Fixed both the blower and weedeater in 30 minutes on the spot. Great customer service and very professional.

Have used Ashley's in the past before being a Angie's Member for sharpening chains for my chainsaw and bought string for comercial string trimmer. It is hard to find a company that caries quality equipment, parts and labor. I am pickie when it comes to sharpening. Many companies take the temper out of the chain, or item being sharpened by letting it get to hot during sharpening. Ashley's sells only quality equipment and has people that know the business. I was so glad to find them in my area between San Antonio and Spring Branch Texas

I would definitely use Ashley's again. The estimated time to get to the repair given to me by Ashley's was three weeks. It was hard to hear the time estimate but they were dead on with the cost of repair and completely honest in what they could do to get it back to me. Now that I have the chainsaw back, I am cutting down trees en masse again.

Clean organized office and showroom space. Knowledgable staff. I ddin't request an estimate except to say to let me know if there was a question about whether the repair costs would be overkill for the value of the mower. I called after a week to check status and they explained they were waiting on a belt they ordered. They explained what would be done and hoped to have the belt in the next day. I got a call the next day to say the mower was ready. I felt the price was reasonable considering the mower sat unused for 2 years because I just didn't get around to doing the repairs myself (which I now doubt I could have done).
This is a first class small engine repair outfit with technicians who know what they are doing.
