ABILENE TUB & TILE

Everything went great! Johnny is very hard working and meticulous about his work. He is very punctual on when he would be there and very affordable on his prices. Will use him for our last bathroom. I highly recommend Abilene Tub & Tile.

Very well, stuck to budget, showed up when suppose to, work quickly and neatly, Very nice tile work, they also do nice sheetrock and texturing, pretty much anything you might need! It is hard to find good contractors these days but they fit the bill perfectly!

Did very good job with everything, showed up when expected, had all work completed within one week of starting. Willing to make changes as we changed our mind several times. Would highly recommend them for any bathroom or tile work of any type. In fact will be using them for our future bathroom remodel and kitchen floor and backsplash work.

Went very well.  John and his son were very good about keeping our kitchen functional throughout the whole renovation.  They were very nice to work with, and listened to any concerns I had, and were very responsive to get things looking great.  Had some issues with the counter top sub-contractor not being very communicative and causing the renovation to last longer than expected, but John was good about keeping in touch with them and me.

On 11 Mar 14, John Reid (Owner) of Abilene Tub and Tile met with me to estimate what all would be involved
in totally "re-doing" my wife's bathroom; time (about a week...), cost ($ 6,352.75) and actual dynamics of the job.
On 14 Mar 14 I gave John $ 4,700 as a deposit/down payment for the job, with the understanding that they would
start work on 18 Mar 14 and my balance due was to be $ 1,652.
There were a few changes to the actual dynamics and cost of the job; I bought some of the parts
that he had estimated as part of the cost of the job and a few things (painting and plumbing) had changed.
When it was all done, after adjusting for parts I bought, etc., I ended up paying him $ 37 LESS than I expected.
Abilene Tub and Tile, owned by John Reid, is a most excellent company to do business with!
They are a Christian based, small, privately owned business and are down to earth, "regular folks".
They know what they are doing, and do it very well; friendly, polite, knowledgeable and thorough.
It was a pleasure doing business with them and I would recommend them and use them again!!

They were able to do the job immediately because of a free day in their schedule. The quality of ther work was excellent, though pricey.

Promptly contacted me after I left a message. John came to do the estimate, and gave me estimates on some other options for the repair in our tub.
We had the same problem as another reviewer, our tub cracked in the bottom and is only 4 years old. The builder and the installer of the tub wanted nothing to do with standing behind their work, even though upon THEIR inspection of the break was due to inproper installation.
Abilene Tub and Tile was great, they fix the problem and the tub looks as good as new. They did such a great job I had them look at our other tub and it was also intalled inproperly so they re-enforced the bottom of the tub. We should not have the same problem in this tub as we did in the other, thanks to Abilene Tub and Tile.

There was a crack in our bathtub because the original builder of the home did not provide adequate support for the bottom of the tub. John came out for the estimate and quoted $450 to fix the cracks and fill in underneath the tub with some form of expanding material to make the bottom stronger and finish it with a non skid bottom. His son came out two days later and it took 3-4 hours of work and the dry time was for 24 hours. Everyone was professional and did everything they said they would and arrived on time. Very happy with the work.

I called John the owner of Abilene tub & tile and asked if he would give me an estimate to have my master bathroom re tiled and a new sink and vanity put in he come over with in 24 hours and quoted me I was very happy with the quote so I asked him if he could start on Thursday and he said yes :) The 3 guys came over Thursday just as planned and took the carpet and tile out on Friday they jack hammered the old tile out they came back and started laying the new tile on Saturday so it would be dry for Monday to grout, on Monday they grouted and replaced my toilet, and Tuesday finished all the baseboards and cleaned up. I was so happy with all the guys they were polite and respectful and the owner was awesome :)
