Moveware Systems

They were very nice. They were very reasonable. I liked the whole service of the organization. They gave me a quote and pretty much stuck to it. I had sent them pictures of the things and they were very appreciative about that. They were on time. They were willing to get into my time schedule. The movers that they sent out were very personable, pretty knowledgeable, and professional. I don’t have any complaints about them at all. They seemed to be reasonable if not the cheapest.

more They were just a little late but no problem there. It was raining and not good weather for a move. There were four men and it took four days with the original estimate saying 3 days. They left early the first day because of the rain. The move into pods was the worst part. The guys were not taking the time to professionally load the items into the pods. They were just piling it in, not using enough blankets and not arranging it to make good use of the space. The outcome was that just about every piece of furniture had damage of one form or another. I had three bedrooms and two other large antique pieces and all were damaged. Pieces of carving were knocked off of every antique Armoire and I called them to report this. The man said they would look in the pods for the pieces and get them back to me. I called six or seven times and they put me off each time and toward the end they would get nasty. They also charged us $2000 more for the move and we had to fight in with Amex, as they put the charges on our card without our signature. We won the dispute and we were billed $6000 not the 8,000 plus that they were trying to bill. Like I said every piece of furniture was damaged, scratched (my walnut dining table top, piano finish) and dented and I have very good quality furniture. Also they were suppose to pay to have my tail light fixed and never did. I was sitting in my suv on the phone and a mover was coming up the driveway to put a loveseat in a pod. He was pushing the love seat up the driveway and talking on the phone. He hit my suv and broke the tail light with the loveseat as he wasn't watching where he was going. They never paid for the $150 repair nor did they pay to have the furniture repaired nor did they ever give me back the pieces of carving from three armoires that had pieces missing. Two of the armoires had important carving missing from the top, one the very top leaf missing. It just doesn't look the same anymore. From the walnut dining table the bottom raiser was missing off one of the legs and that was never returned and on and on. I have move six times proffessionally and three of the moves were out of state moves and I have never experienced anything even close to this level of poor and unprofessional service. It was horrible. The really sad thing is that I told the employees of the bad experience in the end and they all complained about the owner and said what a difficult person he is and they all dislike him. With the employee moral so bad and my bad experience do yourself a big favor and don't use this company. They are unprofessional and it's obvious they lack integrity.

I would never ever use them again. They were awful. They shattered my $1600.00 plasma and didn't care. They did more damage than the cost of the entire move. They damaged an entertainment center, computer desks, and some other furniture. I don't think anything made it through alive. They weren't responsive in resolving issues. The guys worked very hard. The price was good. They were the cheapest. I would not hire them again. I have already resolved the issue. I hadn't paid them at the end of it and they said they would see me in court. They told me that they couldn't follow my claim unless I paid them. My claim was going to be more than what I owed them. The guy was very stressful. At the end of the day, the movers had actually told me that it was fully covered and I would get a new TV. The guy called me the next day that it wasn't the case. He said that the movers lied all the time. It was very frustrating. I went to the extent of taking out a blog in their company name and posted pictures of my shattered plasma. Six hours later I got my Mood for free.

They arrived a bit late, but nothing out of the ordinary for a moving company. There were 3 guys and they were nice enough. They got right to work and were very focused on the move. We did not have any damage to belongings or within either home. They did get a little grumpy having to move a very large armoire upstairs, but it was heavier than heck and we knew it wouldn't be easy. But they did it successfully!

Everything turned out fine. I do wish they would taken away the packaging from the boxes. The workers showed up on time and took care of business. They were able to get the work done in an hour.

I do not think I would ever hire anyone from West Lake Moving to help move anything of mine ever again. They showed up with a truck that was too small and would not fit all of my furniture. Then, they even ended up scratching the walls in my new home when moving different things into it. They did make good on their mistakes, but, nonetheless I do not wish to use their services again.

They were a local company that was easy to deal with. We had a lot of belongings but they moved it with no problem. We had most of our things already boxed, but they were helpful getting the rest of the stuff ready. I liked that they were careful moving things and I felt they were less expensive than others.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO HIRE THESE GUYS. THEY ARE NICE AND THEIR EQUIPMENT IS CLEAN. THE DID BREAK MY WASHER AND WROTE ME A CHECK FOR IT BEFORE THEY LEFT. WOW!
