Description of Work: Excavated area behind the house to remove large boulders to prepare the area to pour a concrete foundation for a 1200 sq.ft deck. The concrete was to act as the lower deck but also to support an elevated deck. Gary provided a larger gauge rebarb and heavier steel wiring to support the 18 in thick concrete slab. He was careful to level the slab such that water would run off away from the house. We have been very pleased with his work and professional advice in providing the concrete deck/support that we needed.

 + -1 moreGary is extremely knowledgable regarding not only concrete work but also many other areas of construction. He was a great advisor as to the do's and dont's in the construction of our patio area, giving sound reason to back his statements. We found him to be extraordinarily honest, with a deep desire to please his customer and provide quality work. We felt his bid for the job was well within reason. Even when he ran into obstacles, such as many, many huge boulder-like rocks in the area to be leveled and grated, he stated this is part of this type of work and that he does not add cost due to unforeseen events. His crew was hard working, continuously moving forward even in the extreme heat of summer. We feel Gary and his crew went over and above to please us and be certain that the end product was what we wanted and that we were happy with the results. We will definitely us Garry Connor Construction again!!
Description of Work: Grated and leveled patio area in the back of the house. Removal of large boulder-like rocks found during grating and leveling. Construction of forms for large area for lower level patio using high quality materials. Poured 34 yards of concrete.
