Left shoe there a week and service was completed and shoe looked great.

The original manufacturing process appeared to be done by hand stitching, using a very thick, somewhat ivory colored cord or thread. When asked if they could match the thread color and weight, I was told no problemI was told to pick up my shoe about 3-4 days later. When I came back to get my shoe, a section about 3 inches had been replaced....thread was white, multi-stranded and some of the strands were not pulled tightly (to look even in tension) so that there were little loose thread loops where the smooth stitching line should have been.Also, it was obvious where the old stitching and new stitching started and ended (were joined...) because this area of stiching was 'doubled' in those places, appearing thick and obviously looked 'repaired'...and poorly so....I told them that I was pretty disappointed by what I had hoped would have been a professional job of hand-stitching, and that I could have done at least as well myself using dental floss (!). That so angered the man who helped me, that he took my shoe and had someone remove part of the stitching they had done and after waiting about 10 minutes for this to happen, he returned my shoe and money to me with no other comment.So, I was really disappointed not only by the poor workmanship, but also by the poor attitude.I was raised to believe that 'the customer is always right' and that salespersons should be courteous inspite of customer complaints. So, if you want professional, courteous treatment, I suggest you find another shoe repair shop to deal with...this place is pretty rough....

If it has to do with leather, don't go anywhere else. I've used them for decades and their service quality is only surpassed by quality of their work. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
