+ -1 moreThe power steering went out on my Volkswagen on my to work. I was very upset because I'd planned to see my husband in ICU at the VA Clinic in Temple and I knew I couldn't drive there with my car in that condition. I called Universal Auto Works and spoke with Dave. I explained the problem and said AAA would tow my car there. He was very professional and courteous. I understood the repair might be delayed because of the difficulties in securing parts here. Rodney called me back in less than hour and explained that the part could be ordered from Houston, would cost about $170.00, and would take about four days for delivery. But he determined an alternate repair that would cost around $100 and be done in about an hour!
Description of Work: Cannot say enough good things about Universal Auto Works! My power steering went out on my Volkswagen the same day my husband was admitted into ICU at the VA Clinic in Temple. Universal Auto Works was able to repair my car for less than the price of the dealer part and repaired it in an hour. Waiting for the dealer part would have taken four days! Totally professional and courteous!
