Mendoza Painting

I was very pleased with the work.  The cost varied from one job to the next.

They did a good job and they were efficient with it. The prices and quotes I got went anywhere from $1,000 to $2,200. The quality was good. They were good.

Rene viewed work to be done with our son at our condo on Fraternity Row. He never sent the estimate as he had said he would. I came to CS from Dallas Monday to begin work, and he quotes me $3400 to paint most of the 1280 sq foot condo. I had pre purchased 17 gallons of paint from Sherman williams during their sale weekend, getting what should have been plenty in all areas, plus one extra per 4 kinds. I purchased the top of line $52 gallon one coat paint so it would cover better. WHen Rene finished, I had 27 gallons of paint on 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 3 closets and open living room/dining room/kitchen combo. Did not paint pantry or laundry. The guys that painted were very professional, kind and did a good job. Rene was there once daily to check on them, he did not do the work. When they finished, he said the total was $3600. It was $4600 for him to paint this condo, and that was with 17 gals of paint 40% off. I would not use him again. He also took much longer than he said, because he has so much going on he had two - three guys in the daytime, and brought in more after 6 to work til 11.
THe whole situation turned into a bad dream. I liked his crew, the job was good, the price tag, outrageous, the time, long.

He is really good. He is prompt, professional and responsive.

They did a beautiful job. I have been sick for 3 years and didn't do anything during that time. They got a crew, who scrubbed and hand painted everything. They re-did the work which the other person spoilt. I had doors which were rusting and they took care. I can't praise them any higher for doing this beautiful job for me. They were very clean, they came every morning, worked all day and left in the evening, during the dark. They hand scrapped everything and didn't use any machines.
