They come out either the day you call them, or the next day. He knew what he was talking about, and he had to order the part, and he got it back, and was right out here. That is a very big plus. Their service calls is less than others, usually calls is over $100.00, the call was less with them.

A month after our youngest was born, our HVAC system failed on a Friday in the middle of August while my in-laws were
visiting. I called Lavco based on a friend’s recommendation and explained the situation. They were sympathetic, immediately recognized the urgency of the situation, and came out the next day (a Saturday) to perform the work. In my experience, that level of responsiveness is truly exceptional. The quality of their work was very good and the price was excellent. They did not even charge a premium for expedited service and indicated how we could save money through a mail-in rebate. They followed up on the rebates after the work was complete and they had been paid. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. Top marks.

Did it in estimated time and it works fine. Filled out all paperwork for me to send in. Very professional.

They were efficient and worked constantly on the tasks at hand. It was hot ... and they forgot to do some things probably due to heat stress. I followed them and found they had failed to put the heating unit back together after testing. They did not throw all their trash away. They had trouble identifying thermostat wires, an issue that could have been easily solved by labeling the wires as they removed them from the old AC. They spec'ed the electrical wire half an inch too short, and the electrician had trouble making the stretch.

They installed a Rheem AC 10 ton and gave the lowest bid for the work. Three times I was required to wait for them on the site, as the security needed to be opened. Three times they made me wait for them over two hours. That is unacceptable.

Finally, they used a fire escape and for two days in row left the door unsecured. I had to discover it and secure it, else the building would have been accessible.

All in all, when the job was done, the unit installed worked perfectly. I do not fault them for being an all Hispanic team, but I fault them for not paying attention and for the manana attitude.

In spite of the problems, I would use them again, and I have used them on my residence AC system. Friendly, but not efficient.

We were having trouble with our A/C unit when we moved into our house so we called our home warranty company and they sent out Alamo A/C. After three visits to our house, Alamo still couldn't figure out why our A/C wasn't cooling our house correctly. The second technician that came to our house put more FreeON in our unit thinking that would fix the problem. They eventually had a "master technician" come to our house and told us that we needed a new A/C unit and that the builder didn't install the vents correctly. Of course his assessment wasn't covered by our home warranty and we would have to pay out of pocket for a new unit. Several weeks after the second technician put more FreeON in our unit, the whole unit froze. Between the incompetency on the second technicians part and the assessment of the and ldquo;master technicianand rdquo; we decided to call a local company and stop trying to use our home warranty. Lavco was extremely helpful! I explained to them what was going on over the phone and they gave me their initial assessment over the phone for free. They also had me turn off our A/C unit to thaw out before they arrived, since the whole thing was frozen at that point. I requested that they give me a 15 minute call ahead so I wouldn't have to take off any more time from work than was needed, they did and they arrived on time. The Lavco technician was extremely helpful, removed some FreeON from our system, checked for leaks and the duct work, and even suggested installing a couple of attic fans to help our attic cool better and not put such a strain on our A/C system. He explained that we didn't need a new A/C system and suggested some ways to help our current system work to its fully max. Overall he was extremely helpful and informative, and only charged us for a service all. I would highly recommend Lavco!
