Rhodes Landscaping is a family owned and operated company that prides itself above all on the quality and ingenuity of work undertaken. We ensure that our designing is original - whether it is a small or large contract. We personally construct and over see every aspect involved in our designs. We work closely with the customer making sure that we produce what the client desires, incorporating their individual needs. We introduce a new approach, using all the knowledge of our landscape construction experience to create a great final product for the customer. Rhodes Landscaping believes in quality, craftsmanship and finish. We make garden 'environments' to last, using natural materials, which blend and enhance with time. Everything was cleaned up and was done promptly. I will definitely use him again and have recommended him to several people.
"The only reason I was hard to work with was because I kept getting the run around on payment when I tried to get half up front with there credit card it would not go thru either card issues or did not have the proper amount so that's when they asked me to meet her at the bank and then I did then I was lectured for about 20 min about how to run my own business and not to mention that misses pulled the money out of her personal account not the credit card . another thing if there son does landscapes why didn't they let him do it? mabey they wanted competition prices the only reason I know this was because they told me . And his rig was parked out side of there personal home a few times that's where she had me pick up my final check! also I have been doing this type of work since I was 11 years old. my brother built the landscape Tejas center in Bryan with him and one man I think we know how to run a business . I do appericate the opportunity but it was a big learn experience on how far people will go bc your competition."
I had accepted Colton's bid about 10 days before he did the job. His demeanor was friendly and professional, and his bid was 1/2 of a previous bid I had received. We agreed that his completion date would be within a month and dependant upon other jobs he had going and the weather.
Colton and a helper arrived unexpected after 5 pm on 3/23/2015 and asked if they could begin the project. It was labor intensive, digging up and wheeling dirt out and then wheeling in granite with a wheelbarrow over a path of loose gravel. With the aid of exterior house flood lights, they both worked until after 9 pm to complete the hauling in and spreading of the granite before the helper went home.
Colton continued leveling the granite and then sprayed it with water to help it compact, and instructed me to do the same at least two more times over the next two days.
But before leaving, Colton wanted everything to look clean and professional. He took the time to power wash all the sidewalks running to the project. Great patience and composure were displayed when his power washer broke. And after a 20+ minute onsite repair, he finished washing the walk way and left. It was 10:30 p.m.
I am very pleased with the end result. My husband and I have enclosed the area with fencing and the dogs are using it. I am VERY pleased with the functionality and appearance of the "doggie pee patch." . AND I highly recommend Colton Rhodes Landscaping.
He had the best bid in town and I figured it would take at least a week, he was done in a day and did it perfectly and exactly how I asked and looks great, I feel completely comfortable putting this house on the market now. Will be using him and only him for now on with all my flip investments, he works with his crew himself, is honest, hard working, and periodically checks up on his work to make sure all looks good still and will fix it if not.
