CHRIS'S AC

I called Chris' AC late Fri Afternoon.  They could provide emergency service or come out for a regular appointment on Monday. Appointment was set for 10 AM.  Chris arrived at 10 AM.  He diagnosed and corrected low freon level, adding 2.5#.  He let me know that since I was losing freon, I should anticipate needing to replace the coil in the attic in a year or so, but it should be okay to make it out of the summer heat.  He gave me a guesstimate of $900 to $1000 to replace the coil.

Total charge was $111
 --- $55 for service call
 --- $56 for freon  $56 (2.5# @ $22/#)

Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, polite.

If I need that coil replaced next year, Chris' Air Conditioning is who I'll call.

My A.C. had been down for a couple days before I decided I HAD to call someone.  I decided to give Angie's List a try and called several of the repair men listed here. The service call charge that Chris's AC quoted me beat the other guys by $20.00 to $25.00.  He was very professional and although he could not make it the same day he promised me next day service. The next day I had several interviews and appointments that I could not miss. He was so co-operative and worked with me to make sure it got done and I would be able to be there. Once here he found the problem ( a burnt out capacitor) and replaced it within 20 minutes.  He even fixed my dryer for me for free!! The venting tube thing :) had come detached from the wall and the dryer. All of this with a smile. He really made my day as I dont have a lot of extra cash right now.  I got his business card and I will not use any one else for my AC needs from now on!
