I've had more than one a/c service company out over the years to check on declining performance. They pointed to my old, poorly sealed house, as if I was unaware of it, or the condition of the house was a new factor not impacting a/c performance previously :/
The Air Tran guys listened to me and asked questions about prior service. They figured out that no one actually cleaned our unit! They were polite, prompt, and answered any questions I had. My unit was very dirty, but they took care of it for us.
